A question for President Obama, "What took you so long?" President Bush & Mrs. Bush visited the wounded the same night.

First off:

"Happy Veteran's Day, Veteran's" - tomorrow.

We all know, that Presidents get elected, not to run the nation, Congress, bureaucrat's, special interest group's, giant companies, PAC's, the 5 Major Food Companies all run the Nation and the World. Some days that means knowing how to heal it. Healing a Nation, such as in the US, also means, to fight a war and win it as fast as one can, and rid America of these terrorist's, as well as the planet, that's why we have Homeland Security, that failed us again, and we not only lost more troops, we lost American's, fighting for "OUR" Freedom's in America and in the World to. I get tired of these "photo opp's", of President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama depart the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, for a visit to visit Fort Hood, Texas, that could care less about our troops, and OUR Military, and cares more about the 2010 re-election's and the DNC. I, as a Veteran, am glad I can be the first to comment on this story to tell the truth.

After 9/11, two wars, and an economic meltdown, I think we could all use a bit of healing.

He truly is the chosen one. Not.

On my new health plan, can I get a different "healer"?
This one doesn't work for me. I don't think he knows what he is doing.
I need another opinion (maybe I can find one on Fox before they get silenced by the machine)

to Confused: get over yourself. Obama couldn't win with you. If he'd gone that night to visit the wounded you would've got on his case for leaving washington while the healthcare debate is going on.

Big freaking deal if Georgie porgie went and visited the wounded, he lives in the same state as they do and guess what, he has nothing else to do in his life, he's not running a country (he wasn't running it when he was in office!)

Remember the favorite mantra of "Bush Derangement Syndrome" coming from the far right? It seems that Obama Derangement Syndrome is equally as contagious.
Obama v. Bush | 10:59 a.m. Nov. 10, 2009
It just eats all you Republicans up that Obama is so Presidential and George Bush was the biggest laughing stock this nation has ever elected. And now look at what you have: Palin, Huckabe, and Joe the Plumber. Yes, you have come a long way. And now you try to make fun of a funeral that the President goes to. You are no different than those nut Baptist bigots that hold signs at military funerals that read "God Hates You!" To you everything is a joke, you think you are so funny. Well, not everyone is laughing at your stupid comments. Try thinking a little before you open you mouth and say stupid things. Too bad you did not think a little before you voted Bush into office two times.

to Confused:get over yourself.::: What a comment to make to Confused when in the second and final paragraph you write, you make a generalized derogatory comment about former President Bush and his wife!
Then to comment "he has nothing to do"? The charitable work this past President and his wife have done and are doing is substancial as is the charity work of former President Clinton(who should have gotten the Nobel Peace prize, as stated in an earlier comment).
Then you state "he wasn't running it when he was in office"! Well if that is the case you cannot blame him for anything! Your comments are just more Bush hate speech year 9!
Don't blame President Bush for the failures of this President! Your then like a big brother blaming your little brother for everything! President Obama already suffers from that! When President Obama was running for office he assured all the democrat primary voters he was ready for the job! Obviously his actions and statements show he is not! Senator Clinton at the time almost caught him so doubt of his ability by democrats alone was and is substancial!
Healer or photo op | 12:23 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Obama saluting the flag at Dover military base as dead patriots are silently wheeled past him. Question - why was this press there and why were all cameras and attention on Obama rather than the fallen solidiers? Bush visited countless times with NO PRESS OR CAMERAS. Bush also visited the families privately with no cameras or fan fare. This was nothing more than a shameful photo op for Obama who never misses an opportunity to bolster his pathetic image. As far as being a healer - If it were me I would want to keep Obama at a safe distance with no cameras rolling. OBama is not a leader and the country doesn't respect him like they did Bush immediately after 911.

I oppose almost every proposal, idea, project, etc that BO has put forth, and hope that his agenda will fail because I think that will be best for the nation, but I am glad to see him honoring those who serve and who have given the last full measure of devotion.

This need not degenerate into a shrub vs BO discussion.

Now if he can just put an end to the PC foolishness that ignored all te warning signs because we didn't want to offend Islam and gave this gunman a promotion prior to the dastardly act, our troops would be safer.
Too funny | 3:54 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
How can anyone with even one brain cell make any claim that George Bush did anything right?
How blind the people of Utah are. George Bush was the worst President of the United States Ever. Even a 3rd grader knows this. For 8 years no one in the US could even visit a forign Country and admit in public that they were from the United States. People in Utah would eat a mile of BS to find out if it came out of George Bush. And you post on this page that he was a good President? Do you actually believe yourself? Donald Duck would have made a better President than George Bush. George was on vacation for 8 years. You think the mess the US is in now is Obamas fault? Obama is cleaning up the mess George made, and do you think he can clean up this mess in a year or two? Think again. George had a great time spending our money on war after war and no one said boo about where the money was going to come from. Now he is out of office and he handed you the bill! Well start paying.

How can anyone with brain cell claim bush never did anything right?

that is childish and simplistic, and highly subjective and biased and partisanship thinking,

and well...just a plain example of liberal hate.
Bush never in Dover | 5:58 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009

"Bush visited countless times with NO PRESS OR CAMERAS."

Bush never went to Dover. In a 2006 interview he said he'd rather visit with the families.
