awsome story. IT is true that the 'pokes were concerned about pitta that they lost track of unga and the other guys.

good work BYU

George would be a star on any other team. Hopefully someone in the NFL can figure that out. Pitta is a no brainer for draft day. Both guys are very nice young men too. i've talked to both - they are humble and friendly. I like to see guys like this get ahead in the football world.
TE's ready to play? | 7:43 a.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Somehow, I doubt those freshman tight ends are ready to play now. How about taking someone who's playing and ready to go? Check out Snow College, they have a pretty good one there, 6'5" and has 400 yards rec. and 10 TD's this year already. Hurry cause Arizona, ASU, Utah State, and others already know about him and are recruiting heavier than the one phone call you've made so far.

It's great watching them work. Great players and great human beings, what a combo.
If only... | 9:03 a.m. Nov. 10, 2009
If only Anae can figure how to use both of them productively, i.e., against good face defenses like TCU and Utah. TCU took Pitta right out of the game, but why didn't we line up with both Pitta and George and go to either the quick underneath passes to them or run the ball with both of them blocking?

But then again, BYU can't be expected to run more than 20 times a game. They must pass, they must throw the ball...on 2nd and 2, they must try to throw rather than run and pick up the first down....craziness.

Yeah, the tight ends are good until they have to play a good team like TCU, my Broncos or the Utes. Utah will shut down the tight ends like they did last year and then this article should be re-written.

Go Utes! Go Broncos!

....and BYU will shut down utah's offence just like they did in o7,06 and 05

Your Broncos haven't played the Cougars in years. How do you know how they would do against George and Pitta?

"Tight Ends Tough"

There could have been several more appropriate titles to this article than the above.

Utah won in 2005.

Stop touting BYU's offensive weapons because they do not exist in the games that really count - the likes of TCU & FSU. Only against mediocre teams they will shine. Don’t get me wrong though I like Pitta and George, but the coaches do not have an idea how to use them with different opponents. In other words, the coaches are hindering the real potentials and skills of these fine players.
Just 2 1/2 weeks away. | 12:17 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
BYU Wins 31-27.

Unga Runs for over 100 yards.

Pitta and George combine for over 100 yards

"Stop touting BYU's offensive weapons because they do not exist in the games that really count - the likes of TCU & FSU."

Apparently, the Oklahoma game was not a game that counted.

BYU will not beat Utah even though it's at their house. The Utes won't be happy after my Frogs whip em and they will take BYU apart. And the Frogs go to the big dance before BYU. How sweet it is!

Moose,

Didn't you also make the following predictions?

From: Moose on the Loose, Nov 5, 2:23PM

BYU could quite possibly not only get beat in this game, but could get beat down! I'm predicting a 35 to 24 win for Wyoming!

Go Cowboys!

From: Moose on the Loose, Nov 6, 10:01AM

There is no chance BYU can win this game in Laramie. They'll be putting their hands in their hand warmers all game long and wishing they were back in sunny Provo.

WYOMING 28
BYU 21

Moose on the Loose.

I think your credibility is a little shaky. You may want to consider worrying about your Broncos against a very upset U of I Team this weekend. They also have yet to face UNR and Utah State in Logan.

@ little jimmy brady | 2:35 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
what big dance are you talking about?
OREGON COUGAR | 5:39 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Pitta and George have been awesome and both are deserving of atention and awards. I wish they were
back next year. Both have great hands and speed. They are also great yuong men and a credit to the
University. Go Cougs!
TE's will be good  | 6:57 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Richard Wilson and Austin Holt are both nationally ranked TE's out of HS. I think they will be more than capable of filling the void in at the spot. Not to mention some of the other prospects.
Big Dancie | 7:44 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
the BIG Dance is a BCS buster baby!!!
Easy | 2:07 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
to look good against the bottom 2/3 of the MWC (which is arguably worse than the WAC this year).

Come play and excel versus the other big dogs in the MWC (Utah/TCU)or against other BCS level competition and then we'll talk.
BYUTrue | 9:00 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Does anyone really care? BYU's not really in the national or even MWC picture anymore? Another year of mediocrity in Provo.
Re: BYUTrue | 10:11 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009

BYUTrue... you make me laugh!
BYU, mediocre?
I love BYU's team this year, and Coach Mendenhall is doing a great job.
He really has brought honor and recognition to BYU with an excellent program that does well both on and off the field.
Denis Pita and Andrew George have been a joy to watch on the field.
To BYUTrue | 10:47 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Read the article. What does BYU's year of mediocrity have to do with anything? This is a great article focused on two likely NFL tight ends. My guess is that you would welcome an article like this about you -- but you realize it will never happen because you passed up your shot at the NFL to troll message boards. Congratulations on your success!!
