Does this mean that our taxes will go up? We will have to pay more cause Doty is so sought after? or will they just go up cause it cost more to have a small school district?

Just what I always wanted, a school district run by an attorney. By the way Anonymous, it's easy to surpass any in the position before you when you are the first one to hold the position. I don't remember any Canyons District superintendent before him. As far as comparing him with other Superintendents in this State, that would be difficult as Doty has minimal experience for such a job in comparison to years of experience that other Superintendents have. Only an inexperienced Superintendent would allow white emblems on entry mats in everyone of their schools and then pay an outside company to keep them clean. Ah our tax dollars hard at work. Doty must think his schools are law offices instead of places where children reside.

So how many trips will he be making to Washington, D.C. or wherever this group's headquarters are? Do Utah taxpayers pay for those trips, too? I'd rather have a superitendent who is in the district 24/7.

It's absolutely absurd that most of the school superintendents in Utah are making $200K + per year. What a waste of taxpayer $$$$$$.
