Did someone put a dome on Rio Tinto Stadium when I wasn't looking? Who's going to want to play in, let alone attend, an outdoor football game in Salt Lake in December? No fans should be asked to make that sacrifice for their team.

I WENT TO THE SNOW GAME THERE LAST YEAR AND IT WAS GOOD TO BAD THEY LOST... THE 1ST 4-5 ROWS ARE HORRIBLE ON THE EAST SIDE OF RTS FOR FOOTBALL BUT IT WAS A GOOD STADIUM

It's a start in the right direction, maybe just have the UTE v. BYU game held there. It might have a pseudo Super Bowl atmosphere.

Puzzled, yes you are. There are unseen benefits such as publicity and people wanting to come later to events to vistit the town that are not always easy to determined. If they don't lose money then it is worth the effort.

Dear EyePatch. Either you have your tongue buried deeply in your cheek or your patch is keeping your from seeing the obvious. Take a prestigious rivalry game and only let 25% of the people attend it who would have attended it. Now that is really logic.

Hello Hello, where have you been for the last few years. Most likely not living in the State of Utah. It was played last year in the Rio Tinto Stadium and before that at the University of Utah. Why do you think they call it the Top of the Mountain bowl. Sometimes it snows and sometimes it is just plain cold, but it has been played here in Utah for many years.

Sandy residents must love their football more than the average football fan, because they should call it the "ICE" bowl. It will be freezing in December!

RE:patch I figured one of you would say that, I did say pseudo Super Bowl. Ever been to a Super Bowl smart guy, probably not, the feeling is electric. It's an idea, for the future, you know "time that is to be or come hereafter".

I went to last year's game and it was fabulous!! The weather was beautiful (more good luck, I know, than planning) and the game was a double overtime thriller for the junior college national championship. As far as pure football, it was probably the best college football game I have ever attended. If you don't really know about this game, don't knock it until you've tried it.

I went to the game last year with my family and I was extremely impressed with the event. It was well-organized, professional, and very well attended. I would guess there were 10,000 fans there last year. The football was very high-quality and it was a perfect family atmosphere. Thank you Sandy City for helping support quality family entertainment in Sandy. I will definately take my family to the game again this year!

This is a first-rate jc football bowl game run very professionally. I encourage all to attend and to support the amazing jc football talent in the State of Utah. Who knows? Snow College may be playing for the national championship again this year.
