Glad to see him allowed back on the field. I thought half a season was punishment enough.

They should have suspended that punk BSU player for taunting as well.
LESSON LOST | 12:42 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
The DUCKS "quack-up" at the "farm" against STANFORD on Saturday.

The first loss since the BOISE game.

BLOUNT then gets reinstated.

BLOUNT learns that when they need "me", they will come begging.

TALENT always trumps.

Another tale from the sordid underbelly of BIG TIME COLLEGE SPORTS.

Taunting should lead to suspension, and they did nothing to this poor winner.

He should be in jail right now.

If you're a Gator and you Poke their eyes out it's only a 1 game suspension!!!! Meyer was only going to suspend him for the first half.

There are always those who know nothing, who do nothing, who sit in judgement of others. Why not look for the positive in life. You will be happier and less judgmental of others. And it is much healthier for you! Lesson learned!

I thought an 8 game suspension for Blount's behavior was about right. After all, they suspended him for the whole season initially and only allowed him back after he met certain criteria (and after discussions with his lawyer). Remember the Miami brawl? Almost the entire Miami team did something worse than Blount and most the players involved got a slap on the wrist. I was digusted by Blount's behavior, but I think a suspension for 2/3 of his senior season is fair. Reducing a suspension from 11 games to 8 games isn't going to encourage anyone to make Blount's same mistake.

How is Blount being reinstated in any way an indictment on the Pac-10 Conference? Don't be an imbecile.
Sorry | 7:05 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
So sorry Mr Blount, but the ONLY thing you will ever be remembered by is that cheap shot you took (and let's not forget the attempt to get some fans on your way out as well).

On a side note, I agree that the BSu player should have been suspended as well for instigating the whole incident.

To all you fools who think you can judge Blount for what he did, but he's back, he served his time, and he deserves a second chance. I'm sure he has learned alot from his suspension too (Unlike the BSU player who started everthing in the first place).
