Once again we see a young player who signs for guaranteed $ millions and promptly forgets how to play basketball with hunger or passion because, hey, he's getting his millions whether he scores 19 or 5.5 per game. Nothing kills a players desire for winning faster than earning millions regardless of performance. C"mon Millsap, the mark of a real man is in how he performs when he knows he could give less and still earn a paycheck.

I argued with two of my co-workers this spring that signing Millsap to that huge of a contract was a big mistake. I have never been $32 million worth impressed with him. I hope I have to eat my hat but right now, the "Proof is in the Pudding."
