For a second I thought this article was going to be useful. By the end I was rolling my eyes.

I'm more worried about who the Jazz will pick with their own lottery pick they seem headed for this year.

With the combo of Boozer and Okur guarding the paint, the Jazz are lotto bound for sure.

Just think of how many ping pong balls the Jazz will hold if both Utah and New York don't make the playoffs.

Of course, as bad as Utah has been, NO has been even worse, which means the Jazz probably manage to finish 8th in the Western Conference.

And count on NY to win about 35 games. There might be 6-7 teams much worse than that (like New Jersey, Clippers, Golden State, Memphis, Minnesota, Sacramento and Washington). So instead of "Starting Five," I think it's much more likely the NY pick will be a few notches back of that.

KOC better get a starter via a Boozer trade. You can't count on a #8 pick to be a great player or be an instant starter/impact player.

O'Connor's "To-Do" list:
1. Get a starter for Carlos' expiring contract.
2. Draft a quality big man (at worst, a player that can back-up the 4/5).
3. Get a starter for AK's expiring contract next season.
4. Do NOT overpay for Ronnie Brewer.

Does anyone have a lot of confidence in the Jazz drafting ability if we do get a high lottery pick or two Lottery picks? Remember Humphries and Snyder?? Jazz blew that opportunity to improve with better than average picks after a miserable season!!

@ The Truth

I have pretty good confidence. Since the Snyder/Humphries debaucle the Jazz have actually drafted very well IMO.

Williams, Brewer, Millsap, Fes, Miles, Koufos, Maynor...Those guys were all drafted in the last 5 years. 4 out of 5 Jazz first round draft picks look like thye will be quality NBA players in spite of the fact that only Williams and Brewer were picked in the lottery. Also the Jazz second round picks are way above the average 3 of 8 players (Fes, Miles, and Millsap) all making some impact.
