Sloan to call a timeout when a run is happening for our opponent. I want Sloan
to make in game changes so bad teams don't beat the snot out of the jazz.

Jazz will have a tough week, with what should be a easy win against the Knicks
(you never know), then they have Boston and the Cavs. Hey, the season just
started, plenty of basketball to be played. Sloan should be able to get the Jazz
the 8th seed don't lose faith.

If only we could find a big defensive center who could clog the lane...
Certainly there has to be one somewhere. Perhaps someone we could trade for.
It cracks me up everytime Sloan complains about the jazz D. Um, aren't you
the genius who puts Boozer and Okur out on the floor together? I mean, how many
years have they been getting torched together? Maybe this will be their year to
start playing D? (walking away shaking my head)

I have a farm! When my Bulls get too old to do the job. We load em in the
trailer and they go to the auction! Jerry you know when its time. You
don't have to go to the auction. Just find a green pasture somwhere and
let one of the young bulls take over. The young bull says "lets run down
there and get one of those young heifers." The old bull says "lets
walk down there and get all of em."
Jerry could be an advisor or consultant. Greg could find a VP job in there somewhere with Denny Haslam or Randy Rigby. Do speeches, find a new way to help the organization. Use your great mind instead of your back! You are not 25 any more...not 45 anymore.

...........puts Boozer, Memo & Linko on the floor together and then
complains about their defense. We have seen these guys for years. You can not
get grape juice from a carrot. Defense is not even in their DNA! How could
they possibly be expected to play it? You can not get chicken salad from
chicken feathers! That would be like me trying bend rebar with a set of needle
nose plyers!

is destroying team chemistry and development of key assets for the future)

EVERYONE WANTS JAZZ TO IMPROVE FOCUS!!! If the Jazz keep playing the way they
are there is no way on this earth people will continue going to Jazz games. Who
wants to pay to see a lack of effort? Good luck raising that $12M in luxury tax
money with the attendance that you are going to see if the Jazz continue to play
the way they are. If you don't punish players for not playing Defense,
this just in, THEY WON"T PLAY DEFENSE!!! There has to be a threat that if
they don't pay D they will sit the bench. My coaches did it with our team
and man did we play D!! I will not attend any games if I see the Jazz play how
they are right now and I know a ton more people who feel the exact same way.

I think Sloan must first be focused himself. Focused enough to call a timely
time out.
Focused enough to play our big men that defend.
Focused enough to see that neither Memo or Carlos play defense and you cannot under any circumstances have them in the game at the same time.
Jerry get focused or do this organization a favor and retire. They've carried you for about 4 years now. Enough is enough.

Why you no say AK no play d fence. He cheat and make block on other mans.. he

Last night I watched Sacramento. The minute there was a defensive breakdown or
Golden State went on a small run and the intensity lacked, Paul Westphal called
an immediate "time out"
The idea I saw last night Having Booz play Center and Okur more#4 is a good one, I would think that could be looked at. Far as the post "keep the faith Jerry will get is #8 seed"
Why is that an accompplishment? Worse coaches then Jerry (Yes fans I think many are) could have Jazz 45 wins and #8 playoff seed "talent full squad alone"
It is the 10-12 added wins the Jazz are capable of winning that will defy the season. That means cannot throw games away and right now there are 2 games we should have won and did not-Dallas and Sac.
Houston, I will give SLoan a freebie on because they are a good team and would have beat almost anyone that night.

it had been a long time problem for the jazz, at least from what i've
noticed. theyve been having problem with not playoff-type teams this decade, the
kings were not the only who had beaten them badly. the only bad thing with that
is that they lost in their home court, which has been their weapon for a few
years now. the reason why they lost is because they dont have enough personnel
to produce or even sustain the intensity they had in the spurs game. we can
blame the injury-prone line-up but they have to live by it. all of em' cant
play the whole season for sure. injuries will plague the team whether they like
it or not. hope they step up their play because its slowly becoming
disappointing for me :(

Jazz are not good. Should be a nice season of complaining and whining by the

Stop referring to the Jazz as "we" watching the game from your
lay-z-boy doesn't mean you are part of the team or organization. Cheer for
them, whine about them, boo them, cry for them, whatever. Just don't refer
to them as "we." You aren't part of the organization you just
cheer for them. The Jazz played a good/bad game - NOT We played good/bad game.
Srsly, have your head examined if you refer to a pro team as "we."

What's wrong with Ak defense? he is cleanning others mess. Deron cannot
stand front of his man Only Brewer somehow trying. And what else you can say.

Sloan, you complain about defense and let a 7'1" 300 lb man and
another 7-footer sit on the bench, both young with potential (Fes & Koufos)
while you play Boozer and Memo together, two men who have proven to play
terrible defense. If you play Fes and Koufos more, while playing Memo and Boozer
less, not only will it improve the defense by clogging the lane with 7-footers,
but it will also light a fire under Boozer to give effort on defense if he wants
to keep his minutes.

The Jazz has a very young and athletic team, but you would never know it. Jerry forces his players to play like old men. If he only knew how to capitalize on strengths instead of trying to mold them into something they're not. Wouldn't it be fun to see them play a Phoenix Suns style of basketball--we're more than capable, but instead, it's the old pick and roll and plays that every team knows before they even happen.
