The area near the Blues Mountains and over the passes are always a slippery slope. It's hard to see the black ice.

My heart goes out to these families - and to the man's loved ones.

Pres. Campbell was my LDS mission president in Los Angeles back in the mid-80s. He will be missed dearly. Our family's prayers are with Sis. Campbell and her family.

God was only aiming for one of us. The rest of us have minor bumps bruises, back problems, whiplash, and a broken rib, but otherwise doing ok. This has been an amazing faith promoting experience for all of our family. It was his time to go.

I was an amazing opportunity for me to be able to talk to my Grandpa for a good 4.5 hours before the crash. His last counsels I believe apply to all: We must overcome (the natural man) to become who we are meant to be. God has the power to turn all things for our good. And we need to just keep moving "Onward & Upward".

The last thing we talked about before the crash was our testimonies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the majesty of His atonement in our lives. I can't think of a more fitting and honorable way to go than, quickly & quietly with a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ on your lips.

He will live on as a legend in our hearts.
He will be missed.
We love you Grandpa.
