We listened to Farmer Boy on a recent road trip. Even the children got it when Almanzo chose to save a nickle rather than spend it on lemonade - an item of no worth. And he had an extravagant Christmas with four presents. We can certainly learn a lot when we invest in relationships and experiences instead of things.
