Great job Buckaroos! You gave Duchesne a great game. I wrote at the beginning of the year that Monticello was on its way back and they indeed made great progress. You have every reason to hold your heads high and start working towards next year. Much thanks to Coach Downard who has brought a great new spirit to the Buckaroo program. Thanks also to the seniors: MJ, Josh, Ricky, Tazz, and Adam. You will be missed! Looking ahead to next year, there is much reason for great expectations. Devin Wright will be back to lead the way after an unbelievably gutsy performance vs Duchesne (and all year). Kendall Maughan, CJ Cordasco, Cory Young, Tim Ryan, Adam Black, and many others will be back to continue the restoration of Buckaroo pride!

its funny how this buck pride is coming back so strong.... with kanab, enterprise, parowan, and north sevier all gone of course they will make the semi finals. any game that was tough they got beat. nice pride!!!

Would you Kanab people quit being so ignorant. Get over it. YOU are a 1A wanna B. Rich would beat you for sure this year, Duchesne and MOnticello would have a shot at you. Monticello playing much better and they do have pride. QB looked very strong and will be great next year. Do you have to get on here and tear people down? Enterprise, Parawon, nor NOrth Sevier would be in the championship game this year in 1A and it really does not matter as they are in 2A as they should be, just like basketball. Please leave things alone, we have all had it.

You think 1A teams can't have pride? We can only have pride if we beat 2A teams that are playing down in 1A? Give us a break!!! You get some pride. We like things fine in 1A just how they are. Kanab, Parowan, Enterprise and North Sevier are finally back where they belong....in 2A. Now leave us alone and let us enjoy our 1A football!!!!

To Pride.
Pride is somethimg that 1A football is all about. After coaching in 1A for four years I saw this every single game. Most teams play with kids that are on both sides of the ball and in on every special teams. I was very proud to Coach in 1A and proud of the boys I was able to coach. I was able to coach the QB in Monticello and Devin is a great player with a lot of pride. He will have a lot of kids behind him next year that will also bring a lot of pride to the feild every game. Great job 1A football, this is where true pride is. Downard has done a great job and my bets are Monticello will bring lots to the table next year. Good luck to the remaining teams this year. Play with 1A pride that I loved coaching!!

Im sorry monticello and duchesne would not have a chance against Kanab. Rich and Kanab would be a good game though. Lets be honest no 1A teams besides rich could compete in 2A this year.

Just like you beat Kanab all those other years huh. You couldnt even beat us when you were supposed to be the best team in the state. What makes you think you could beat us now. As for the comment that Rich could beat Kanab all we have to say is 5-0,5-0.

I am a third party member looking in, but it sounds like Kanab is living in the past with all this 5-0 talk. Teams change every year, and who knows who would win this year but for goodness sakes Rich and Kanab won't play this year so MOVE ON!

What happened to kananb when they had the number 1 offense in 1a and got shut out 30-0 against Duchesne in the championship?? Kananb is just mad because they cant compete in 2a and they are way to big to be playing 1a football. Your not a true power house if you cant carry winning over to 2a!! get over yourself
