Great job Wildcats, I knew that you guys could do it. That was a tough game, Even though I couldnt make the game, I got a play By Play from the other big time fans. I am sure that you could probably hear me screamin and yellin even though I was in Northern Utah. However, This next game is one that I will not miss.No way, No how. So strap on your chin staps and get ready for this next game, becouse this time it is for real. Your a great bunch of kids. I am Loud, I am proud, and I am still

South Summit loves stampeds so bring it on because it is going to be a long ride back to the dry country for the boys down south. But, lets have a great game with great sportsmanship..........

stamped stopper.

mom of a Grand Son | 11:18 a.m. Nov. 9, 2009
yes S. Summit won, but it wasn't the shut out that many of you projected a week ago now was it? I will always be true Red & White, however as hard as it is I will cheer the Broncos on to win. S. Summit was the team that Grand played that in my book gets the award for worst sportmanship of all. Come on Broncos beat S. Summit and enjoy your championship. Next year watch out for the Red Devils
SOUTH SUMMIT | 11:22 a.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Way to go boys. Keep up the hard work. The result will be the same this weekend i can gaurantee it. You guys are in the making of a dynasty.
Region ? | 11:26 a.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Aren't teams supposed to be in the same geograhical region? Coalville, Kamas, Salina, Gunnison, Moab, and Blanding. Way to go UHSAA on reducing travel costs. Sounds like the WAC.
Good luck to both teams as either one is deserving of a championship.

Hey wildcat fans lets act like we have been here before.
RE: mom of a grand son | 12:57 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
a lil bitter perhaps? everytime a grand player was injured our team took a knee and cheered for him when he got back up, our quarter back even walked over and offered an injured grand player a bottle of water.... dont point fingers in frustration. your team played well and with class as did ours. act your age and set a good example for your son.
Cool... | 1:14 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Lame jerseys south summit. no one likes seeing your bellys.
Anonymous | 3:19 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Hey, south summit help me out with something. last time you played in a state championship for football it was in 2000 right. Who won that Year?
mom of Grand Son | 3:28 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
no i am not bitter nor frustrated. i was not pointing fingers. more amazed at how poorly Moab fans were treated in S. Summit. Yes the game in Cedar City was better and for that i am thankful. trust me i am setting a good example for my son, nice dig on my parenting. maybe the parents up your way need some teaching too. thought this was a forum about the teams and games.
re mom of Grand Son | 4:11 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
haha what did the fans do up here?? were we suppose to pamper you or lets see just let you win?? would that have made you happy??
RE : Mom of Grand | 4:22 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Nobody from South Summit ever predicted a shut out with you guys. We all knew that it would be a tough game, and one that would be won on defense. We also knew that with all your players back that your team would play even harder. And I believe that they did. Congrats on your season - Eastern Division Rocks this year
The Clock is ticken, and we are ready

South Summit fans look out for their own. We take care of anyone in our way. So all you other fans just get out of town.
RE; MOM OF GRAND | 4:58 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
South Summit being poor sportmans? Far from it. Were you watching a different game both times? Our boys have always been very respectful. Yes, some of your Grand boys were getting hurt in Cedar City, but this was not done intentionally. It is a rough sport and if you can't handle this - maybe you shouldn't be watching. I am a good, proud parent! Maybe you need to understand what a good sportsmanship is. Good luck to both teams this weekend. GO GO CATS!
S Summit uniforms | 5:00 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
I agree, S Summit's uniforms make them look like they're a team based in san francisco if ya know what I mean
Wildcat FAN!! | 5:01 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
I was at the game and must say that the Wildcats showed a Great amount of sportsmanship! They played a great game and won it fair and square!! We are going to take the championship next week!!!! Good luck boys you deserve it! And for the upset mom from Grand I am not sure what you are talking but when you go to someone else's stadium don't expect to be treated like the home team. DUH that is just sports! Get over loosing to us TWICE and I agree be a good example and move forward! GOOD LUCK CATS TAKE STATE!!!!
a proud wildcat fan! | 5:07 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
Nice job to #12 Parker Anderson!! You had an amazing game and had two terrific interceptions!!! We can't wait to come watch you next week!!! Nice Job Wildcats and Good Luck next week!

I am a student here at suu and loved watching both games on saturday but i must say something about south summits uniforms. what is with the belly shirts and low rise pants? personaly i found them a little disturbing.
RE: Wildcats | 5:28 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
I dont know if you are serious or what. I do know that south summit fans sure had a lot to say before the San Juan game. They also had a lot to say during it. It was out of control. Their fans were on the track yelling at San Juan players and other fans.
WILDCAT MOM | 6:06 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
TO THE MOM FROM GRAND, SPORTSMANSHIP IS ALL AN OPINION. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES SS HAS NOT BEEN TREATED WELL EITHER. HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS CAN BRING OUT THE WORST IN FANS. WHY NOT TRY TO BE THE BIGGER PERSON AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE TO YOUR SON? I WISH BOTH TEAMS THE BEST OF LUCK AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT FOOTBALL GAME..... GO WILDCATS!!!!!!!
mom of Grand Son | 6:40 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
i am over that our team lost. that is part of the sport, what i am talking about on the sportsmanship is when your children in S. Summit and i am talking about little kids coming over to our stands and telling us "Devils Suck" "We Hate You" and then the high school aged boys walking through our cheerleaders and telling them to sit down, shut up and calling them horrible names. That sirs is poor sportsmanship. no i do not expect to be treated like the home team, but like a human would have been nice. i wont even go into the class move on the coaches part at the end of the game. i never said anything about the sportsmanship in Cedar City, in fact i said it was better and i was thankful for that. Good Luck Broncos!
dont worry grandma | 6:54 p.m. Nov. 9, 2009
i'll take of em all! smack em on the side of the head for you!! i'll knock the kamas out of em!
2A fan | 9:32 a.m. Nov. 10, 2009
It is so sad that people have to comment on uniforms! I think ss uniforms are fine as to some teams they hang to their knees? I think that is just plain JEALOUSY that your team is not where ss is. They have a great team, coaches, and fans that almost cover all bleachers wherever they travel. All KIDS ACT TOUGH and say stuff that is not right and im SURE it has happened in ALL football games!! GET OVER IT!! Good luck to both teams.
Sportsmanship | 2:14 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Sportsmanship is not playing a JV game when you said you would. Sportsmanship is scoring a touchdown with varsity players against sophomores. It is an onside kick with 10 seconds left in the game on those same sophs. It is pretending you're hurt in order to stop the clock so you can get the ball back. It is kicking another player after the play. Way to go Grand. You are the best sports around. As for next year, all of our Juniors will be Seniors. See you then.
Re: Sportsmanship | 3:46 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
I am assuming you are from South Summit. You guys do have a great junior class. Honestly though your line is small. You have Levi, Harrison, Trevor and Parker returning thats it. Bring it next year too.
SS Alumni | 5:07 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Guys this is the year we will take state. San Juan doesnt have what it takes to win it all. We are more deep and we are ready to go. Just keep your eye on the prize. If we play like the way we know we can we will cake walk through the title game.
Re: SS Alumni | 6:38 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
oh yay we have another JD Books...
GREAT | 7:03 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
Let's not have someone replacing JD Brooks. South Sevier had a good team and good fans, but all that was overshadowed by some Idiot who got on these boards and talked them up, making everyone hate South Sevier. DON"T BE A JD BROOKS. The game will be played saturday and that's all anyone needs to worry about. If you have something to say that will spark any controversy, keep it to yourself
South summit | 7:25 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
ugliest uniforms i have ever seen San jaun all the way all ready beat you this season one more time shouldn't be to hard
re south summit | 9:01 p.m. Nov. 10, 2009
harder to beat a team twice
amussed | 11:35 a.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Sombody needs to get there facts straight we have a whole junior class waiting for you next year you should be worrided Wildcats are number 1
Really | 12:12 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
Are you serious you are comparing sportsmanship to children under the age of 12. This is about football and the sportsmanship on the field which so. summit has tons of. The wildcats have tons of pride and play with heart and passion and our coaching staff expects them to always be good sports on the field. Trust me the sideline comments happen all over the state. Don' be jealous of the Cats success.
re amussed | 12:20 p.m. Nov. 11, 2009
