BYU really needs to step up the intensity. Very poor passing and lots of wasted errant shots into the dark. Get serious and play like a team, need to communicate. Luckily there was good defense! Except for one shot that sank their ship from 25 yards out!
Not surprisingly, when the championships get handed out, Cougars come up short even when favored.
BYU really missed having starter Jessica Ringwood....out with severe ankle injury she received in Thursdays game...hopfully she will be back for the tournament.....
How can you say that "once again BYU comes up short..."? Here's a stat to chew on: of the 183 possible tournament championships available in the MWC since it's inception, BYU has won 83. That's a staggering 45% of the championships in a 9 conference league. The next closest is UNLV with 24. So to act like BYU always comes up short is preposterous. Perhaps they come up short the most because they get to the championship the most.
Scoreboard.

Aztecs
Elizabeth Lambert is awesome!!!
BYU wasn't favored.
