Great non-con schedule. Unfortunately, that may mean ~0.500 at the start of conference games....
Go Utes!
It took the Utes a long time to shake this division two team. Not a good sign. The first few weeks of this season are going to be ugly. The "difficult" schedule will come back to haunt the Utes. I put difficult in parenthesis there because the schedule is only difficult because of the weak conference we play in. If the Utes were in the Pac 10, Big 10, or other major league, they would be the bottom of the barrel.

The mighty Utes beat a high school team by 13 points. Yeah, things are looking good this year. How could they be encouraged by what they saw? Just asking.
Come down nonbelievers the games just started. The veterans were good and the new kids need time to settle into a groove. This team will surprise a lot of teams and by the time league play begins the Utes will be force to recond with.
As a long time Ute BB season ticket holder, I believe they have the talent to be very good this year. Even better subsequent years. I was not optimistic until attending yesterday's game, but saw a lot of talent. With Boylen's emphasis on defense, they will do very well - once they learn to do the defensive job. Looked better, IMHO, than last year's conference winning team looked at the beginning of the season. Let us all give thanks that Giacoletti is gone.
Yea, the pac 10 is just loaded.
I was at the game yesterday and let me tell you what, this team is DEEP. I still get frustrated with all of the outside shooting. Why not take the ball in to the post with Washburn (this kid is a beast) every time down the court? with Washburn, Foster, Tillie, Brown, Cyphers, Drca and the newcomers......this team will be very explosive and be there at the end of the season for yet another conference championship.
GO UTES.
Boylen is the man!!!!!!!
is the head basketball coach at a football school.
i do believe steve fisher won a national championship at a football school in 1989--remember the university of michigan
also i believe billy donavon has done pretty well at a football school --can you say florida.
