Sounds like another Utah County scam by some devout conservatives.

This is an example of lawyers trying to make a buck. If a stock underperforms, they file a class action lawsuit on behalf of a few disgruntled shareholders who serve as class representatives. They claim securities fraud and force a settlement. Not knowing about the specifics of this case, it is unlikely that Nature's Sunshine actually did anything wrong. It's just that the stock is underperforming and someone saw an opportunity to make a buck by forcing a settlement.

Nature's Sunshine has been fraudulent for decades. People had better educate themselves before aligning with a networking company. Most are deceitful and market dumbed down products, few are highly awarded nationally and internationally for their products and payout systems.
