not extend this wonderful opportunity to the elite poiltical circle in the Nations Capital? They get a lot of freebies so why not?

Yes, very often choices of using drugs or alcohol, for example, will be part of becoming homeless. Right now, that poor choice might have been choosing to be employed by a business that went belly-up.

Some people just have bad luck. Some do everything in their power to try and provide for themselves and their family, and it just doesn't cut it. Trust me, I have been there, up and down, my parents always tried their best. I feel really bad for people that just have it really rough, the ones who actually try to do right and provide. However, I don't feel for those who have thrown their lives away because of a drug addiction.

Many of us learned to adapt to having much less in our early years of marriage. Not saying that we were homeless, but we did not have much. Could not get a credit card in those days and did not make much money.
I wonder if today's younger generation had not lived so far beyond their means, maybe there would be less turmoil for families.

that this happens our affluent society. so many people have it so good. Others, not so good. Makes me wonder who is hoarding all the money?
