BACK UP HERE - "A Muslim leader says the Army psychiatrist suspected of going on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood asked him for advice on what he should tell soldiers who had concerns about going to fight Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan" - ANYONE can SAY anything about a DEAD PERSON, that can't come back to argue about it if it's right or wrong, so this so called "Muslim leader that says", can't really PROVE IT, it's all hear-say at the most, and, just wanted to het his or her name in the story, in the name of Muslim. And for free PR only. That's all. Not any of these comments are found to be abusive, offensive, off-topic, misrepresentative, more than 200 words, just fact's n truth's. Am I not right?.
Some advice for military | 9:34 a.m. Nov. 7, 2009
When Moslems in the military ask to not deploy, their wish ought to be granted. This probably would not have happened had he had to go to court to try to get out of being deployed.
A lesson for the military | 10:17 a.m. Nov. 7, 2009
The military ought to consider exempting moslems from being deployed. If a moslem has to go to court to get permission not to go, this ought to be a serious red flag.

(this guy did go to court to get out of being deployed).

What an insult to the moslem community. If they truly love this country as they say, then they should be willing to be deployed where asked.

The fine Japanese community of Utah had some REAL heroes in World War II. They fought alongside their "brothers" of many nations to secure freedom and free agency.

Reply: I know, he's just there in ICU looking like a slice of Swiss Cheese so far, and neither did the Girls in the Hood die either.
Muslims in military? | 2:01 p.m. Nov. 7, 2009
Why take the risk? We've seen traitorous Muslims in the military before, even here in Salt Lake City. Why do we expose young American soldiers beginning their service to their nation to home-grown terrorists spawned in the violent mosques of America? Why in the name of religious freedom do we allow Islamic terrorists to hide in mosques?

We need to drop the all volunteer military service and reinstate the draft. It is not right our battles are being fought on the backs of the poor because they can not find jobs while the rich bear non of the burden of military service and go about their privileged lives.

Re:Fair;I submit that you are incorrect in your assumptions. The military is not full of poor, destitute, nor uneducated men and women. On the contrary, they are some of the finest, educated, and dedicated people that one can meet anywhere.
A draft will not improve anything, and besides what has a draft got to do with the situation in Ft. Hood Texas? As an aside, those that are so strident for a draft can always volunteer! :-)

If the shooter had been a white Male conservative Christian, the news would be falling all over themselves to report it. It shows the real agenda of the media.

Some advice for Military:
Isn't that what the military is for? If someone doesn't want to go overseas and fight that is perfectly understandable, but they should not join the military then.
