Well I guess Region 4/SEC turned into the MWC today when it came to the big
games with only one team advancing and that team should/will be eliminated next
week and make a Region 4less championship game. Sorry Alta but I think your run
is over! Good luck next year. (not a miner fan but GO MINERS)

Need to get better players from around the valley to compete with alta. Try
alta's little league. they have plenty of talent to spare.

You've worked hard and long. So have we. The next game, will be the most difficult game of the season, for both of us.
Bring your best game, your best prepration, your best play calling, your best cheerleading, your best drill team, your best attitude. Because we will bring ours.
Two giants, respect each other. In truth, you guys scare me. But our team is not afraid to play you. You are not afraid to play us.
The fans will be the winneres of this game. I have said it before: everytime you play us, it looks like a well-coached and well-played college game.

They have tried and succeeded with Alta little league.
They had Alta little league coaches recruiting for Cottonwood.

Thanks for getting it started Bingham Fan. That is so true: "2 giants,
respect each other." Bingham is a solid program. The better of the 2 teams
has been crowned State Champ the last 3 (soon to be 4) years.
It is too bad that this match-up won't take place where it belongs, in the State Championship Game.

Championship game again this week between Alta and Bingham. Utah high school
needs to get it right. Alta / Bingham games needs to be the final each year, not
the semi every other year. Why do they keep doing this? Two best teams in the
state hands down and they play each other in the semis? Why? Congratulations to
both teams making it again and again and again and again. Biggest game in Utah
next to the Utah vs BYU game. Hold on for the ride, it should be another
thriller. Winner of this game will win state.

Alta you are done. We have already played the best QB in the state in Hart and
won thanks to Jordan's weak defense. Your running game is week and you will
not be able to pass on us enough to win. Bingham will win again because you
can't stop our running game.

News to you........You can't stop our passing game! If we jump on you
early, I don't see a repeat meltdown like the one that happened at Bingham
in August. Alta was blowing you off the field and lulled themselves to sleep at
halftime. I know that both teams are better now. Your running game is good, but
our passing game is GREAT! You couldn't stop us the 1st game. Even when
Alta spotted you 21 points in the 3rd quarter, you still could not stop the
passing game of Alta. Our defense is also better now, and although Langi will
get his numbers, so also will Jordan Brown. He passed for over 400 yards last
night. Alta also has the three best receivers in the state. All I'm saying,
is don't count out Alta just yet! This will be a hard fought game, and
whoever wins will win the state championship next week! Davis nor Hunter has a
chance to knock off the powers from the south!

Bingham, I don't think any of your fans have it right. You give 42 points
to Jordan and think you can play Alta? If you have any weaknesses, the
beetdiggers exposed it in a losing effort. You will play not only a potent
offense, but a great defense in Alta. Don't expect much movement against
the hawks unless assignments are blown. I give it a Alta win 38-17.

Yeah and you can't stop Bingham's GREAT running game, Bingham has the
best O-Line in the state, and the #1 D BABY!!!! And in case you haven't
noticed Bingham has a pretty good QB too, Hannay has made tons of plays with his
feet, so before you go singing "We are the champions" just yet, you
need to get past the MIINERS!!!! GO BINGHAM!!!!!! And if Alta is soooooooo
unstoppable in their passing game, then why did they choke away that 21 point
spot? CUZ BINGHAM CRUSHED THEM IN THE SECOND HALF, YOU BETTER BE READY!!

Well Bingham, i guess niether one of us get to play PG in the playoffs....it
would have been nice for one of us to knock off the BEST TEAM EVER!!! Anyway, i
think this wee is the week we have all been waiting for all year, Black &
Blue at RES!! This is one of the best and classy rivalries in high school
sports that i can remember. Langi is about the best back Utah has had for quit
awhile, and we all have to deal with him for another year. Alta's offense
is running on all cylinders, And both defenses are as stingy as ever. Good Luck
to both sides.

Keep running your mouths about this week being the state championship. One of us
will see one of u next week and one of u will lose. Just like all the region 4
talk was over rated likewise Bingham is over rated. We have seen u both lose
this year and both of u will lose once more this year.

another great game in this rivalry that has really become the best in the state
over the past 5 years. Alta still has a bitter taste from their first loss to
you guys and will be ready as we know Bingham will be. I'm sure Bingham
hasn't forgotten the final last season either so once again we'll be
treated to a great game between two great programs who are proven winners.
re: Region 4....I guess that's why they play the games, PG had a great group of players, LP played very well as a team, but winning in the playoffs, especially on the road, isn't as easy it everyone seemed to believe.

Regarding Beetdigger fan exposing Bingham:
We have fixed the special team issue so you don't get the ball 3 extra times in a row and that means you can take three TDs out of the picture and Bingham scores maybe two more times. Game ends 76 - 28 and you are saying we are exposed. Okay keep thinking the way you are - we love it. Against Syracuse the offense miss fired and fumbled away three scores inside the ten yard line. Those mistakes erased and the score is 59 - 3 and this was against one of the best D's in 5A. We are hitting peak stride just at the right time. Alta will be tough for sure but they should be very concerned. Much stronger team than last year. It will be a monster of a game!!! This one is not in the bag for either side.

the loser of the Bingham/Alta game will then be rooting for their rival to beat

will be the hottest ticket going this weekend. You better get there early or you
won't get a good seat. My guess is 18,000+ will be in attendance for the
2:30 kickoff between the two best football programs in the state of Utah. I am
an Alta fan, and I hope that Alta can 3-peat, but i also know that they are
going to have to bring their A game in order to get past Bingham. I have great
respect for both programs and especially their coaching staffs. This has turned
into a great rivalry just like the Utah/BYU games, where you throw out both
records, because anything can happen. My hat goes off to who ever comes out on
top o Friday, as I know that team will win state! Give us 1 more great game guys
from the Black and Blue squads. It's very entertaining!!!

This is why Bingham will win state this year, They are the only Team in this
group that dind't lose to Brighton this year and they got beat twice by a
Jordan team that Bingham destroyed. I am not a Bingham fan or supporter, Just
trying to be realistic about who is going to win. Personally I would like to
see Hunter win it all, Davis has not offense and wont be able to stay with Alta
or Bingham. Alta has already lost to Bingham and don't have the studs to
win this game. Sorry Alta the 3 peat is not going to happen.

The way I see it, it's Bingham that has to bring their "A" game.
Alta was all over them week two until a couple of db's had breakdowns. That
won't happen this time.

Davis has no offense? I guess having one of the best, if not the best RB in the
state constitutes no offense. Keep in mind, they have the same QB and RB as
last year when Davis lost to Alta by one. Davis has Hunter's number, they
have beat them the last three seasons. Look for this game to be a knock out,
hard hitting game.

For all the smack talk that has been said we are sorry from bingham we know this
will be a fight until the end. Most of these comments are from parents or kids
off the team, we have a great respect for you as you do for us. It'll be a
great game looking forward to having yet another great game that will sure to be
another close one. Bingham and Alta have the two classiest teams in the state so
if your someone not from bingham or alta stay off of these blogs.

That's an interesting take on the first game back in week 2. Others
watching the same game could say "Bingham dominated Alta except for a
couple of early (and one late) db breakdowns".

Alta should start Handley at QB against Bingham. The offense was a lot better
w/him behind center. They haven't looked even close to as good since Brown
has been back. We need to play our hearts out to beat Bingham. Go Hawks!

Jordy is the QB, Boston is a good kid and great punter. Jordy is the QB. Alta
