4A high school football: Timpview routs Spanish Fork to reach semis

Congrats to Timpview. I can't wait until next week. It should be a real
fun game. It is to bad we are not playing for the championship because I
believe we are the two best teams. We have both had two blowouts so far, but I
got a feeling our game will be a nail-biter. Good luck to all, may the best
team win.

The Timpview vs. Mtn. Crest game might as well be the State championship. Both
of these teams are fully capable of destroying Springville and Dixie. The
Timpview Mtn. Crest game should be really good...I just hope that Timpview can
pull off a win. Mtn Crest is looking great this year.

Note to Coach of the Don's:
You reap what you sow. My only regret in this game was not seeing Timpview put up another 14 points.
Let's recall: Brand new school, Maple Mountain High. Brand new program. Team that had all young players, Frosh, Soph and some Jr's.
For all the HS fans who didn't watch the game 3 weeks ago. SFHS, while ahead 20 points kicked 3 consecutive on side kick offs. Up 27. Up 34. You disgust me coach and have no clue what HS sports is all about.
Way to go Timp! Next year beat them by 50 please.

The Dons actually were able to play head to head with TV offensively in the 1st
Quarter. The end came when we lost all three of our best receivers to injury.
Would have been fun offensively if we could have stayed healthy. Although, in
the end our Defense was too porous.

Dons defense wasn't "porous", it was an open sieve. TV scored on
every, repeat every, possession except their last one when they took a knee to
let the clock run out. Would have been fun to see the Dons in all four gears,
but TV would have won without a Spanish Fork Defense

Spanish Fork did lose all three WR's to injury, and I think Timpview's
Notre Dame recruit Chris Badger was involved in all three plays. All clean
plays, but hard hits. It appeared that Timpview changed their defensive scheme
for the Dons. Whatever they did, it certainly was effective

That is the best run offense I have seen all year at any level and I see a lot
of high school football games. TV was patient, methodical and efficient. Give
credit to #12 for his field presence and how flawlessley he executed the
offense. Is he Tim Tebows little brother? I don't think there is a better O
coordinator in the state than Vanorden....brilliant. TV has some gifted
athletes and that is something you can't always teach. It will be a state
championship matchup next week for them versus Mt Crest, and they will have all
they can handle. Good luck to both teams.

In other words, you just weren't good enough to beat us.
Many teams played head to head with us through the first half, quarter, 5 minutes, 2 minutes, etc. But in the end, we're just too well coached, have too many athletes, and have too many weapons.
Not all 3 WRs were lost to injury. Some still played throughout the game. A few were dinged up by great defensive plays. This happens nearly every game, we injure someone due to our physical play. Just ask Provo's Unafe what it felt like trying to tackle Bryson... If he has any memory of it! Maybe he just remembers the ambulance.
Your injuries weren't freak accidents in warm ups, so stop making excuses.
MC and Timpview will decide the state championship.

I understand that MM is still upset about their season. MM will have their day.
They just have to wait a few years. But before MM can say too much, you have
to at least WIN a game.

Still (24) suffered a concussion on a helmet to helmet hit. Chase Loftin (5) was injured and was limited in his ability.
Yes, TV was the better team. Ask any team in the state and they will tell you TV is a dominant team. They have outstanding coaches and their boys execute their offense very well.

Well no kidding you have athletes on your team. When your program recruits from
all over the state, of course you are going to have athletes on your team. I
would love to see you play with 100% of kids from your district. A way different
outcome for T-Bird football if that was the case. I can not wait to see the farm
boys from Cache Valley put a good whoopin' on your pretty boys!!!!!

Oh really? Who has been recruited? Since you have all the evidence and answers, who plays for Timpview who does not live in the district? Please, provide names and if possible, addresses, maps, and boundries.
By the way, since when has Timpview recruited? Has anyone actually proven it? Or is just one of those cases where a bunch of sour losers with sour grapes spread rumors because their team was detroyed?
Furthermore, it's called open enrollment. Mtn Crest benefits from it. If you don't want to play for Logan, you can play for Mtn Crest. If you don't want to play for West high school, you can play for East.
It's called open enrollment and every school in Utah benefits from it.
So stop trying to take away from the T-birds superior defense and offensive schemes. Install the shotgun spread, have a multiple front defense, and build up your programs.

MC gets to recruit from Hyrum, Wellsville, Mendon, Providence and some other big
cities around CV, which makes them as fair a football team as can possibly be
put together from the farms (as you all say from the SLC areas), and you will
get to see how well coached and disciplined they play the game, win or loss
against TV they have had a great season, everyone in CV wishes MC well in their
contest with TV, and may the best team win. Can’t wait to attend the
game.

who cares about 4a or 5a you ask any of the 5a coachs if they think they could
smash Timp or MC your wrong there and Timp had Kafausi it would have been
different story now that they have put it together there a scary team right now
