Deron's team.... | 12:25 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
This is Deron's team and he is leading the team with his play, with what he says and with his dedication.
Southern Utah D Will Fan | 1:00 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
All you D Will doubters yesterday sure have nothing to type about today, do ya? When every NBA analyst in the league has CP3 and D Will as their number one and two guards, how can you say he's overrated? He finally had some help last night and look what happened... we beat a team we've struggled beating for years.
Tyler Fox | 1:05 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Deron is the team's leader and if the lose him then Ronnie Brewer and Carlos Boozer will really have to step their game and win some games. Lets just hope for the best and keep our team healthy and get to the Playoffs and WIN IT ALL!!!!!!

Typical rich NBA player thinking that they can just take work off whenver they want. Makes me sick.

I can't stand watching Boozer play! Everytime he gets the ball I cringe because you never know what's going to happen. They should start Millsap! He'd put up 27 every game if he had the minutes. Boozer is an over-hyped, over-paid, lazy, wimp!

Is no doubt the leader of the team and one of the best in the NBA. I'm a HUGE Jazz fan, but I have been disappointed so far. With that said I haven't been disappointed in Deron at all, actually I feel like he was the only trying during some of those games. We are lucky to have such a talented PG to control the court and team. Last night showed that if we can get our WHOLE team to play we could make some noise and be scary later in the season especially after we get korver and miles back.

Dwill deserved all the doubters yesterday. He was playing zero defense and not playing well. Tony Parker went to the foul line how many times last night? Lots.

When Dwill plays defense every game then he can be considered in the top tow.

If DWIl was consistent in his defensive efforts to make him a more complete point, he will have lots of all star games. He is truly irreplacable, last night I thought was clearly the best game because he had a great balance of scoring, dishing in particular getting the ball to Carlos in the right position and others.

I really really like this Matthews...

I have no idea what game you saw last night...you better check the air date on your TIVO
re: AdamS | 3:02 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
You are joking right?

Millsap has been missing in action as much or more than Boozer this season.

Sure we love lots of things about Millsap but he will never ever ever ever ever ever have the offensive skillset that Boozer does....and I don't even like Boozer.

It is not a coincidence that we lost 3 out of 4 games while Boozer was stinking it up with his shooting slump....then suddenly we beat the supposed unbeatable Spurs when he gets it going.

No accident.

Enjoy that Millsap Kool-Aid but if you think Millsap is a go-to guy you are riding to an NBA championship you have been drinking more than Kool-Aid.
@Adams | 3:04 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Both Boozer and Millsap have had 1 game each where they played well. Millsap also tends to be a foul machine and can't stay on the floor.

If Boozer is playing well he is a top 5 PF and really helps the Jazz. If he is playing like he did in the other 4 games he kills the Jazz. Ditto for Millsap. His only decent game was against the Clips.

Neither one of them have it together yet on a consistent basis. I hope Sloan plays whomever is playing well. I don't care who sits and who plays as long as it results in a W.

Have you played basketball before? It bangs you up. We have 82 games for Deron to be knocked around; I would much rather have him pouring his heart and soul into the games, rather than being a little sluggish because he practiced after getting knocked around.

If he skipped EVERY practice, well, that would be something to whine about.

Unless Deron's production on the court is hurting, I wouldn't criticize him. It's not like an office job, where you are good to go 8-5 every day. With a high-energy sport like basketball you get more mileage out of short bursts of focused effort.

Delusions of grandeur, let not talk about "winning it all" just yet. You'll end up like BYU fan with that kind of talk. Let's get some wins under our belt, maybe get a little winning streak going. With 77 games left, the Jazz still have MILES to go. Let's not jinx it, let's not talk about situations that are not even in the horizon yet.
AdamS | 3:39 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
I bet you are a top notch athlete yourself. You could go every single day at the NBA level. Oh yeah, uh huh!

Questioning D-will's defense against PARKER????

Does anyone stop that guy?
POR's second unit | 9:11 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
is taking SA apart. They do not look like they are in any slump to me.

Pop sat Jefferson for not playing D. To bad Sloan does not have enough depth or maybe the inclination to do that.
@Miles | 5:47 p.m. Nov. 7, 2009
Why are you still posting on these forums? You said that you weren't going to post any more if Matthews wasn't cut and played. He isn't cut. He played. Yet you still post. You are a liar!
