Does anyone else notice a commonality in the events involving muslim gunman.
The so-called religion of peace has an ugly side that justifies the killing of
innocents. There is a reason that the Middle East, the birthplace of
Christianity is almost devoid of Christians. Islam exterminated them. Religion
does matter and until we take the threats of radical Islam seriously, many more
people will die unnecessarily.

I love Aaron, what a brave man to serve are country. We should all look up to
him and what he was doing for are freedom. I know this hole Family so well, and
this just crush's my soul. The pictures you see have so many words and so
much love! I Love you Aaron and your in my thoughts and heart! You shall have a
place in my heart for life!

What a sad time in our country. Not only are we at war over seas, but we have
war here in our own backyard. My prayers go out to this courageous man's

those in the highest circles of our government may not give their full support
to our military men; we wish to thank you and your son for his selfless service

so sorry for your loss. We lost a daughter last Dec. and burried her on Dec.
20th. It's never easy to loose a child. They are your life and blood. I
do have to say that I believe he will help you more every day of your life as
your heart is opened to him. He will never leave you really and will be in your
heart. He didn't die in vain. His time was spent doing good. We never
know when it's our time to go. Being left behind is so difficult but I do
believe he will be actually closer to you because he will be in your hearts
forever. It doesn't make the pain any easier. Accept all of the stages of
grief. He will be your anchor when you need it most.

Our son also joined the Army instead of going on a L.D.S Mission.
He will be going to Afganastan any time now,
He is in Germany with the 173rd Airborne.
His name is Martin.

I knew this family growing up before they moved to West Jordan. Mike was my
scout leader and the whole family is just great. I hope they can be comforted
and know that their noble son died in the service of his country, and even
though the circumstances are sad and shocking, this young man is a great example
of a patriot and someone who loves his country. Thank you for your service
Aaron.

value good deeds. What a wonderful young man, you will see him again in glory

My thoughts and pryaers are with all the families and those who live and work
with those who were killed and injured. Including the gunman's family,
they are suffering as well. Islam is NOT the cause of this tragedy or any of
the violence. It is how misguided and often times sick individuals interpret
any religion to fit their evil designs and purposes. My own LDS church history
is peppered with those types who have done unspeakable acts because they thought
God told them to...and the LDS religion does not promote that type of hatred or
behavior. At any rate - this is a time for love, support, understanding and
yes...forgiveness. Not pointing the finger, blaming and continuing to sow seeds
of hatred and discord.

As a fellow Utahn, and as one of Aaron's military brothers even though in a
different branch, I am heartsick over his senseless death because of the
desperate actions of yet another member of the United States Armed Forces.
An event like this should never have happened on a military base of ALL places.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Nemelka family in their time of loss. May our Heavenly Father watch over and bless you as you cope with this unspeakable tragedy.

I am also a fellow Utahn in the military (United States Air Fore and currently
deployed in Iraq. I wholeheartedly agree with Lt. Taylor, and he couldn't

We are so sorry for the lost of a fine young man.You are in our thoughts and in
our prayers, may God bless you. My husband is a guard two at the base in Nevada
and troops come here to train, because it is like Iran and Afganastan. These
troops know that some of them won't come back. I thank God every day for
our troops.

John Gilmore is correct. Lets stop being politically correct and start using
some common sense. It isn't hate when you know that someone or something is
out to get you. Islam as a religion believes that anyone who is not Christian
should be disgarded (nice way to put it I guess). I have read the Koran and
talked with Muslims and if they follow their beliefs to the letter of the law
then the end justifies the means. It doesn't matter what one must do to
reach the purpose of Islam.

Aaron's father, Michael was my employer some years ago, so I know the high

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. We also lost our son Kimble Han
on 10/23/09 doing what a Combat Engineer does in Afghanistan. I know that was
what your son was going to be doing after he was deployed. Any military men and
women that lose their lives are true heros. I will keep your family in my
prayers. Both of our boys must have a greater mission to fulfill. But, we sure
do miss them. Huh!

When I saw that a Nemelka from Utah was killed in this senseless mass murder, I
immediately thought of my Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity brother, Mike Nemelka at the
U, and wondered if there was a relation. Now I read that both father and
grandfather are named Michael. I hope this is not the same Mike I know.
Regardless, my thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
