At least you have some insight Theta...

..you are being a cranky old lady.

Many of your complaints are about shelling out cash for the 3-D movies and accompanying accoutrements.

You act as though you are utterly obligated to comsume the products.

If you don't like it, I suggest you don't buy it. Put that old capitalism to work if you want the trend to change. Otherwise, no need to be cranky is there?

I, for one, see value in meatballs traveling at 60 mph. No food fight in grade school history or otherwise has yet to match that level of entertainment. :-)

It's a Fad | 12:47 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Um...most movies have a non-3D version. If it bothers you so much just don't go to the movie.

Learn to say no to your kid and let them watch it when the non-3D version comes out on video. They would be out of their minds to not release it both ways.

It's different and kids like it, which is why the sudden influx. Like everything else it's a fad which will go away soon. Do a few more loads of laundry and you'll find that before you know it you'll be complaining because all the kids movies are rated PG rather than G again.

There will always be something to complain about. Quit teaching your children that being a grumpy gus is a desirable characteristic.

amen, Theta. Amen.

Recent 3-D is not even that great and some theaters don't give you an option NOT to see it in 3-D.

No gracias.

Theta ... I guess you don't want to hear this, but 3-D Imax does exist.
