Hmmm...a joke that offends someone. Who'd a thunk it?
Relax get over it. We did.
What is wrong with our world? Everyone is getting offended by everything out there. It was a haunted house! Things like that happen on Halloween! Are they gonna ban the celebration of Halloween now? It wasn't even making fun of someone hanging themselves, it was mostly there cause how scary it appeared to be. It was a haunted house for children and something like that would be really scary for a child. Get on with your lives!!
Oh please people. Stop trying to babysit everyone in America. If you don't like what a particular network or tv show is portraying, then don't watch it. It's that simple. However, it's not appropriate for you to try and censor these shows so others cannot make that choice for themselves.
And for you parents: it's time to step up and be parents and monitor what your children do and watch. Stop depending on the networks to only show a certain quality of show so you don't have to worry or think about what your children might see.
I completely understand why some people are concerned about what's being shown on television today, but don't you think this kind of uproar over The Office goes a little far?
However, that's why we already have a tv rating system that helps individuals guage what kind of content a show has and whether or not it's the quality of material that they want for their families or for themselves.
The bottom line is people need to take responsibility for themselves. Quit expecting others to do it for you.
Do those folks actually think someone watching that episode of The Office is actually going to turn around and commit suicide based on that scene?? Get a sense of humor. Does that mean someone who gestures a gun to the head is being unPC? Where do these idiots get their funding? What is their take on the Roadrunner cartoons?
