Want some lunacy and possible prophecy. Okay, so maybe possible prophecy is not prophecy at all. That is unless you are an after the fact Nostradamus deducer. Here it is. Utah and BYU win with CLOSE CALLS against two duds in Wyoming and New Mexico.

I feel like this story was written because there is nothing to write about anymore now that BYU is a joke of a football team so they have to pull something out of the hat about WYO. depresssssing.

"Wyoming on the rise" I guess that's true since they played so good Against the "Mighty" utes. This is gonna be an intereting game. IF I didn't like BYU so much it would be fun to for wyoming to Beat BYU.

BUT.......

BYU 28
Cowboys 13
Samurai Jack | 8:05 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Wyoming will LOSE their last four games of the season, finish 4-8 and this article will be rendered irrelevant.

(BYU, SDSU, TCU, Colorado St.)

W.... Y.... O.....!!!!!
RE: Anonymous  | 8:09 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
How is BYU a joke of a team? This is a team that has more 10 win seasons in a row at any time in the history of the program. Is ranked in the top 25. yes they have lost 2 games in disapointing ways but htey will still win 10 + games this year, win the bowl game, and be ranked in the top 25.

Yeah your right they are a joke of a football team. BYU should just get rid of all sports.
Reality | 8:23 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Wyo will lasso the Cougars.

Wyo 23-18 BYU

Ya heard it here first.

Cougars too focused on the cold, the altitude and the mean Wyo fans.
Samurai | 8:32 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
You are WRONG. We end the year 3-1. Mark it down.
Ernest T. Bass | 9:07 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
There is no chance that BYU loses this game. In case you haven't heard, Hafoka is back from the injured list. Noway can BYU lose with Hafoka playing.
Moose on the Loose | 10:01 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
There is no chance BYU can win this game in Laramie. They'll be putting their hands in their hand warmers all game long and wishing they were back in sunny Provo.

WYOMING 28
BYU 21

Moose on the Loose.

Easy to answer...cupcake schedule.

"htey will still win 10 + games this year, win the bowl game, and be ranked in the top 25." Looking at that crystal ball again?
No, Samurai... | 10:10 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
... BYU ends the year 4-0. I assume your one loss is the Utes, the only remaining "quality opponent." But if you've followed the Utes, they really aren't clicking on all cylinders--only playing well enough to win. That'll catch up to them soon.

The BYU/Utah game will be close as the U breaks a few big plays in the midst of an otherwise underwhelming offensive performance--which is how they've played all year. The U will also still be a bit shaken after losing BIG at TCU, 37-3, where their offense will be contained. (No use arguing, Ute trolls--TCU's playing MUCH better this year than your team did last, and deep down inside, you really do know that.) But the BYU offense will make the difference. 28-24, Cougars.

Cougs also break open a close game against Cowboys in the 4th quarter (42-21), waltz to an easy win over New Mexico (63-14), and pull out a tough win over Air Force (30-25). Mark THAT down.

Provo isn't "Sunny" ,not all the time. Utah has been Down to -30 degrees or do you not know that?. AND Whyoming is just above utah. It's not like FSU playing washington. BYU can handle the cold.
Re: Mosse on the loose | 10:54 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
BYU can handle the cold. And they WILL win

BYU 35
Wyoming 10

"What they're lacking in consistency, they're making up for to stay in football games with enthusiasm. ... (Wyoming has) a lot of scheme and strategy things that are pretty unique and hard to defend..." - Bronco Mendenhall

Hey Bronco I see you are able to recognize some important qualities in Wyoming's team (enthusiasm and schemes/strategies). Do ya think that kind of stuff might help the Cougars too? Or do our players only need "position mastery" and "execution", which we see worked so great (*cough cough*) against FSU and TCU?
Randy | 11:22 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
I would like to thank the Utes for giving everyone the impression that Wyoming is a good team.

"I feel like this story was written because there is nothing to write about anymore now that BYU is a joke of a football team so they have to pull something out of the hat about WYO. depresssssing."

No, what is depressssssing, is having to read your post about how there is nothing to write about......and then to think how depressed you are that you not only read it but made a comment. Yikes!!!!
Samurai Jack | 11:35 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
You Ute homers (a la "Moose") predict a BYU loss every single week no matter now lame the opponent. You were certain Tulane was going to take BYU in New Orleans, remember? The humor in it all is past and it's getting quite old.

To the "No, Samurai" poster: I really have no idea what you are talking about. I said Wyoming would finish 0-4 to finish the year which does not disagree with your premise that BYU will finish 4-0. ???

To the Cowboy post that predicts 3-1, I'll see you next week after the SOUND loss to BYU when you can tell me how WYO is going to defeat the Horned Frogs.

Wyo is not good enough to beat SDSU let alone BYU or especially TCU.

Utah's offense is in a depression... Wyo fans are reading too much into it. Also, your first half against Texas had everything to do with Texas being asleep and making big time errors and little to do with quality WYO play. The second half is all you need to know.

Also, on Saturday in Laramie... it is NOT going to be cold. Check the weather forcast.
Samurai Jack | 11:50 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Just figured out the "No Samurai" response... sorry you were responding to the Wyo will go 3-1 post which used "Saumrai" as his/her title to respond to me.

Never mind my comment.
RE: Samurai Jack | 11:50 a.m.  | 4:22 p.m. Nov. 6, 2009
OK, original Samurai Jack, there you go. "Samurai" at 8:32 didn't say who he was responding to, except apparently in the title. So since I read this as a BYU sports story, I thought 8:32 meant BYU, not Wyoming, would finish 3-1.

If 8:32 actually meant 1 win and 3 losses, I agree that's most likely; maybe 2-2 if Wyo really heats up. But if 8:32 meant 3 wins and 1 loss, they've got medication for that sort of thing now. No doubt Wyoming's improved, but the Cougars are still a much better team--and expect a rewind to the second half of the Texas game when the Cowboys meet the Horned Frogs. So there you have it...

Every week we have ute trolls posting that byu will lose to whoever they are playing. You would think they would actually care enough to see whats up with the ute boards. Then again they seem to care more about BYU then their so called team. There are two types of fans in the state of Utah, BYU fans and BYU haters. Its pretty sad that ute trolls have to keep hoping for BYU to lose in order for them to enjoy their weekends.
Handle to Cold | 8:00 a.m. Nov. 7, 2009
BYU can handle the cold. Its the heat that gets to them.

the whole mountain west is a complete joke. When i watch mnt west football, all i see is missed/failed blocks. incomplete passes, ect ect. i had to quit watching this sloppy conference. the only reason Utah and BYU have winning seasons is because the play teams my old high school could beat. the truth hurts.. it hurts really bad.
