1 megawatt [MW] supplies sufficient energy for about 300 homes. Thus 50 MW should server around 15,000 homes. Hydropower is very clean too. Like solar and wind the fuel is free. I like it.
Nothing is free | 5:43 p.m. Nov. 5, 2009
yes hydro power is good clean and free power. but we will not get the power for free. but it will hopefully make it more affordable but remember that cap and trade bill will make our power available in East coast sometime in the future so our power bills also might go back up. because of more user's using our power.
Correct Figures | 11:10 p.m. Nov. 5, 2009
The correct figure is 1 MW supplies enough power for 1000 average American homes. This is the formula we worked with when developing new power sources in the Midwest.
Thus, 50 megawatt's will supply 50,000 homes.

The CUP... | 5:22 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
The CUP has outlived its bonded lifespan so why is it still around? The CUP bond was approved to run a pipe line from the Colorado river to the Utah inter-mountain valleys but after 10 years it was shut down and the bonds diverted for other uses without a vote. However we are still being taxed on this very bond that was scrapped 30 years ago.

And to add insult to fraud there is talk again of another bond to do the same thing the CUP bond was created to do and scrapped. How many bonds must citizens pay for to accomplish the same projects?

Open government? Not on your life. Deceptive government? Very active and lively.

Based on what "The CUP..." said,"Open government? Not on your life. Deceptive government? Very active and lively", the Obama administration should be all for it!
