How many D1 guys does LP have. Didn't they blow you out like 33-3? How many
D1 players did Alta have? Just because you have scholie players doesn't
guarantee a win.

Good luck to both teams. It will be the same style of game from both teams.
Great defense and good running games. PG will have to go the the old school
pound it. Davis has great blocking schemes. Could come down to fumble or
turnover. I bet it is a quick game as the clock will keep moving, so field
position will be key. It is always tough to win at Davis I hear. Get better
Dallas-bad luck breaking the leg at this time of year. Should be a great, close
game. Hopefully we can execute and figure out thier run game. Hinds and thier
O line must be great.

Why did anyone ever bother playing PG this year? It seems they should have been
given the state championship from the beginning based on their 8 D 1 guys.
"8 D1 guys, 8 D 1 guys!" Am I the only one getting tired of hearing
about this? Davis is good. By the time these playoffs are done there will be
some D1 schools after some of their players. PG fans: wait until Friday night to
talk, but I have a feeling you will be silent on these boards. Either that or
making excuses for why you lost.

I am a PG fan and we all know you can throw out records, offers, etc. This will
come down to coaching, momentum and obviously execution. Going there will be
tough. They are always well coached.
We can pressure any passing team- we easily handled Jordan and West Jordan that throw it. But a good, tough running team we are good against also, but is a bigger test. As Davis is, if there is a chink in the armor they will find it. Man for man, PG is bigger, faster and stronger. But I know DHS plays the game well. I am looking forward to a good game. Hopefully our coaches have something figured out for them.

just because you have your 8 D1 players doesn't mean anything. PG has
played bad in their last three games (yes, including riverton) and you were
lucky to come out with a win. LP wrecked you guys and Alta beat up on you too.
Say what you want about your speed, size, etc, but David will win 28-10.

PG fans are respectful and have a huge following-alot like you Davis. Great community support; very respected coaches that dont pop off, run up the score or leave our starters in when we get up by 21-it is a class program. Like Davis'-but not the winning tradition DHS has, but PG is getting there the last 5 years.
Some people love to stir the pot acting like PG fans-they have no life and laugh at the responses they get.
When we travel, our PG fans outnumber home crowds. Like Davis does. Just dont listen to dorks on here stating how good we are to get a rise out of you. First comment out of the gate is trying to get a rise out of you from jealous people.

Sorry Davis, the Vikings are coming to smack you down in your house. If Brighton
shut you out, I seriously doubt you will even score on our D. Way too much
talent and way too much team unity.
Watching Davis on film.... it is kind of like watching a slow un-athletic team that is about to get the shock of their lives when they see the team speed and talent of PG.

I have a feeling this is going to be a great game. PG better not take this game
lightly or they won't male that trip to RES. I think of davis' offense
has an outstanding game, they win. Good luck to both teams.

I would say on paper PG has the advantage. And even without their star QB PG
has the advantage in that field as well. Davis has to step up their Defense to
have a chance in this game. If it's close towards the end of the game I
would look for Hinds to make the difference even if PG keys on him early. Go

This squad of talent has the potential to go down as the greatest team in Utah
history. No other team in the history of Utah has the talent that PG has at this
time and place. I can't wait to see these guys steam roll through the
playoffs. If and when they become state champions, I think the claim will be
solidified: UTah's best team ever.

I have watched both Davis and PG play this year. I think there is a lot of good
players on both teams. PG will need to stop Troy Hind, by the way, he will be
one of the best D-Ends to ever come out of Utah. (He's a sophmore). In my
oppinion and as a former college coach, Troy is as good if not better then Joe
Krueger. It will be a fun one to watch.
I'm pulling for Davis. The arrogance of PG this year has gotten to me.

Might have a point, but for the most part they ARE PG fans posting. Go back and
look at any of the old articles going back to the first of the year. Go read the
comments after they beat TV. Greatest team, little league record. Every
kid's background. Like a poser is going to know that much information.

Stop acting like it isn't PG players that are posting. IT IS! And fans
too!! PG hasn't been able to play the better teams well because they really
do think it's all about their D1 players. PG isn't even close to the

people can bad talk pleasant grove all they want - this is a classy group of
players that is united, talented and hungry. they are on pace to be a great
team as they get more healthy.
i just can't see Davis and their slow, one-dimensional offense posing any threat. i could be wrong, but i doubt it.

One D1 guy from PG will be the deciding factor in this one. As Dallas Lloyd goes
so go the Vikings. Look for a hard fought defensive battle as Lloyd struggles
with his ankly injury. Davis will take advantage of a low scroing game and sneak

I have seen them both play this year and if Dallas Lloyd isn't playing, or
is even hobbled, I give Davis the edge. Otherwise, I think this game is an
absolute pickem.

PG will not be denied a State title. There was an incident that happened in the
locker room @ Brighton, when the boys were on the field, that really brought
this team together.
I am not trying to rip Davis. I am sure you fans are great and your kids are great as well. We will cheer for our kids, you cheer for yours. When it is all said and done you will have simply be a stepping stone to a State Title.

I believe this could be close enough that the kicking game could be critical. I
don't know anything about Davis' kicking game but I know that PG has
had trouble with FG's and extra points.

Juice Box (Davis) will have the edge in this one. Yes PG has had a couple of
issues with not only their kicking game but their whole team. The Darts led by

PG.....you need to be told that in order for you to have a chance against Davis
that you must put not just one other defender, but almost give him 2 other
spies. Yes, obviously this will open up the field for receivers like Moffet and
Horne to thrive, but its better that than Tanner running over your entire team
one by one. Either way will be costly and that is exactly why I see Davis
rolling in this game. PG will receive pressure at the QB position by both the
Darts' DE. This will still be a very close game. It will be nice to see two
teams with very good backfields square off against each other. Davis wins 17-10
