Nobody is going to pay $1800.00 per family per year increase that was going to be passed down into our utility bills. There is no such thing as global warming right now. It is a ploy to rob us when rest of the world would not go along.

Utah 2008 SB 202

Utah has Renewable Energy Goals as State Law.

To the extent that it is cost effective to do so, beginning in 2025 the annual retail electric sales in this state of each electrical corporation shall consist of qualifying electricity or renewable energy certificates in an amount equal to at least 20% of adjusted retail electric sales.

Replace the bill that they are looking at in DC with Utah's 2008 SB 202 and we have a deal. What is currently being proposed back in DC is a pile of junk.
