Excuses,excuses! Maybe you missed the real reason Demos lost the elections: people are tired of Obama! Tired of Obameconomics, tired of red ink, tired of wasting billions of tax dollars on pork! Tired of lies about the economy! Keep dreaming Demos, you will lose more the next election and the next until we can send you all packing!

No, I think their analysis was fair. Some people feel as you described, no doubt, but it's more about apathy.

What's interesting is that Democrats have really tried to do a lot of drastic things. But the bells and whistles don't seem to be so enticing anymore. I think people are realizing the need for solid, simple government. No one has given us that for many, many years.

Right on Joe M about the government...dems and repubs...but I think a lot of people are fed up with what they are trying to do. Redistribute the wealth, take control of aspects of the economy, take over health care...kind of scary if you ask me and a lot of others.

Obama promised "Hope and Change" and we still have the Hope that we get Change from Obama. That change has to happen now or the US is toast, which is just what Obama wants...
