Hotter climate and more people using the water that goes into the lake. Will keep it from flooding again.

people lived in the whole salt lake valley. Now over 1 million live in SL county alone, plus davis and utah counties, toole and park city. More people=more water use.

I agree with Heidi. Let nature take its' course. Our artificial meddling often causes more problems than nature does.
