PG.....you need to be told that in order for you to have a chance against Davis that you must put not just one other defender, but almost give him 2 other spies. Yes, obviously this will open up the field for receivers like Moffet and Horne to thrive, but its better that than Tanner running over your entire team one by one. Either way will be costly and that is exactly why I see Davis rolling in this game. PG will receive pressure at the QB position by both the Darts' DE. This will still be a very close game. It will be nice to see two teams with very good backfields square off against each other. Davis wins 17-10

Davis has a QB that can get the ball to his receivers, and they can catch it...PG is in trouble! The secondary is only good when the other team can't catch the ball.

Does anyone give Syracuse a shot at beating Bingham? Will Bingham be looking ahead to a supposed matchup with Alta and not show up for this game with the Titans and lose? I've seen over confident teams lose before especially if they fall behind and they start making mistakes or taking chances. Bingham has an amazing team but I wonder if this is a trap game for them. From what I keep reading and hearing, no one is giving Syracuse a chance. They did beat Skyline, who before the game, had the 3rd highest scoring offensive team in 5A and the Titans held them to 7 points.

The reason that many teams haven't caught the ball is because the QB spends most of his time worried about being hit. This cause the throws to be uncharacteristically off mark. The secondary can play with anyone and as far as Hinds go I think he runs for 100 or more yards because they give him the ball 30 times. PG's defense will be able to shut down everything else and a 100 yard game by Hinds won't produce enough offense. PG will score on Davis' defense. They will know how to handle the D-ends and put points on the board. PG's offense takes the ends out of the game. They read the ends on almost every play and adjust. Davis is a great team and this game will be close but I think PG's defense is being a little underrated here. It will be a great game and I am excited to see if PG come out hitting hard from the start they will win, if they don't Davis may walk away with the win

No and no.
Held Skyline to 7 with Brown out in the first quarter. Doesn't mean much. What happened in the Layton game? Ugh!

That is one big IF. I have no doubt Davis has capable receivers, but getting the ball to them will be a mountain their QB hasn't been able to climb.

I would agree if PG doesn't win Davis will win. :)
I watched Riverton run through and around PG's defense. Riverton is not that good.

Wow thanks for being able to read. I know it's hard with punctuation and everything. The reference was to them hitting hard. Riverton ran past PG's over pursuing defense. If you were really paying attention you would have seen it was PG's defensive line running past the ball carrier. In no way did Riverton run through their defense. Not to take away anything from #1 from Riverton because he was a great player. Davis runs a different offensive scheme which the aggressive style of PG's defense can smother early and if they don't and allow Hinds to get going it could be a long day for PG but I still think Kruger, Hymas, Heder, Esteban and crew come out geared to stop the running game and they will be successful.

Agreed. Brown accounted for about 40% of the run game and 40% of the running game and 21 TD's (oddly enough 40%). That was an awful lot of firepower to lose in Q1. The lack of offensive punch and ball security was caused partly by Syracuse's defense but also partly to Brown's absence.
