Who says money doesn't buy happiness...and championships. Take a look at the New York Yankees, worked for them and it works for JD. You guys don't give scholarships, you give "Tuition-assistance"...that's legal jargon that your fancy pants lawyers threw together.

Here's a plan, you and the private/charter schools from the mountain west states should form a league! You all have enough money and there are some good private schools in Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona...That'd be a fun time for you guys and it would be fair to the public schools in 3A that don't have the money, resources, and "Tuition-assistance" that you guys have...They also have physical boundaries from where they can get their players, you guys don't. So I say we level the playing field and create a private league combining a few states. I would actually cheer for Juan Diego if you guys did that, I just don't think it's fair what you guys do to the public schools.

I agree with Juan Diego #1. It's hard for most of these 3A schools to even compete with Juan Diego.

You are way off base and have no idea what you are talking about. If the private schools do as you say why did Judge get bounced in the first round? If they were doing as you say both Judge and JD would play for the 5a state title every year and that is no where near the case.

For all you complaining about Juan Diego being so much bigger and better. Let your boys go out and play. I think they are the favorite in 3A but it doesn't mean any of the other 7 teams couldn't beat them. Go Delta good luck against Park City I know you can get them.

look it up, those rules apply to all schools. Yeah, you know all of us Catholic parents are just way too rich and snobby to send little Johnny and Suzie to public school. Or maybe we work two jobs, volunteer, fundraise, or go without and want them to go to college and have a better job, better life than their parents do......naw, we're snobby.

We play on one of those contending public schools.

I do not think that playing in other states is the answer. I do believe that private schools should play up a level. I personally know of two fantastic athletes that were recruited by Judge to go their from Junior High. The Judge coaches called them and guaranteed a college scholarship for both. Now open enrollment allows this but in all fairness they should play up in the different leagues. They count student population in other states for private schools by 1.5 per student. Lets try it here. Oh wait, UHSAA would never want to do that.

There's schools in 3A that can beat JD. Hurricane almost did last year if it wasn't for a kickoff return with time expiring before the half. Everyone quit complaining and believe in your teams.

Juan Diego is not as good as they were last year. They are very good, but last year's team was incredible! Park City is much better but already showed it wasn't good enough. Hurricane is quicker than last year's team...I would love to see a rematch of the last year's final.

(Wasatch? Sorry, but not in the same league.)
