4A high school football preview: Spanish Fork at Timpview

A near perfect game by Spanish and a few well-timed mistakes by Timpview could
make this game close. Certainly a Spanish Fork victory would have to be
considered one of the decent upset in 4A Utah football history. I'm not a
betting guy, but I can't see it happening.

Spanish needs to focus on eliminating mistakes and focus on executing one play
at a time. If they do, and they play to their potential they can definately
give Timpview a run for their money.

Thanks for giving Timpview so much credit! We don't consider ourselves
all-stars. We are just like any other football team in the state who shows up
and works hard all year long. The only difference is that we do our talking ON
the field, not OFF. Anyone can call a team names, but it doesn't win them
games or any points in the classy department. Good luck to all of the Utah
county teams in the playoffs! Lets show the state that we know how to play
football, too!

Timpview has always been a recruiting team and always will be. They do it
because they know they cant win without having to go find players from other
states. I want spanish fork to put timpview in their place. its time for them to
face reality. close game, but spanish will come out on top.

2 of last 3 meetings with these two teams have come down to the last play of the
game with T View pulling them out, both by just 2 points. Not saying SF can
beat them, but if anyone has given them scares in the past it is SF.

I hate TV fans, players and their comments!! They are so rude; show no class;
and ALWAYS DEMONSTRATE EXTREMELY POOR SPORTMANSHIP on and off the field.
*People would not hate you so much if you would show just a little bit of class and some sportmanship. Some of the people leaving the rude comments are high school kids mostly TV fans and players! The rest of them are from TV parents!!

It is easy for the TBirds to do their talking on the field. They are
stacked...not because of superior athletes, because of hard work, in the
offseason, in the weightroom during the season, on the field running
drills...perfect practice makes perfect. Coach Wong has done a good job to work
these boys to make a good football team. They are my favorite to win, but will
face some tough teams. (Spanish, MC)

I wish people like you would quit expressing your jealousy toward the timpview
football program on comment sites like this by saying the tbirds are
"classless" and "recruit" and "Utah County All
Stars". How about your team just works harder then their team so that you
can do something about it where it matters, on the field. Quit making yourselves
look stupid with this garbage and do something about it on the field. Thats what
makes Mountain Crest, TV's next opponent, a good team, they dont whine and
complain like everyone else, they put up or shut up. That will be a great game
next week.
