But if those guys had won the white house would be screaming from the rooftops that their Obamessiah had saved the day again. Of course they're going to try to say that it had nothing to do with Obama. Neither did Chicago not getting the Olympics, right?

I obvious Obama.......America sees through you .....you're an empty suit!

I've never voted for a candidate because they had the endorsement of another politician.

Apparently this is true in New York as well, where the Sarah-Palin-endorsed conservative candiate Doug Hoffman lost to a Democrat.

We picked up a congressional seat that republicans have held since the Civil War.

Virgina is a little like Utah. You have Fairfax County that is well educated and well paid and the rest of the state is a backwater. Virgina is a lush green Utah without the state run stores.

Democrats best election tool are republicans. They ruin everything they touch. W got Obama elected.

That is right, Robert Gibbs, the Governor Races in New Jersey and Virginia had absolutely NOTHING to do with a backlash on OBAMA and the Liberal Socialist Agenda, Nothing at all to do with it!!!

That's right, keep kidding yourself, because within 3 years you'll find yourself, Obama, Palosi, Reid, and the rest of you hoitie-toitie know better than everyone else's, OUT OF A JOB!!!

The elections had nothing to do with stealing our rights, nothing to do with "Change, Change, Change", and nothing to do with the attempt to move this country to a Socialist Regiem at all. It had nothing to do with Obama's attempt to re-interpret the Constitution of The United States of America into a Socialist Agenda, Raise taxes, Quadruple the deficit, and unemployment about to exceed 10% in spite of the promise that if the "Stimulus Package" was passed when it DID PASS, we wouldn't see unemployment pass 8.5%. The fact is, people with sense are seeing this hit them personally, and not just the guy next door, and the time has passed when you can blame George Bush. So you're right, it wasn't Obama!

Yeah right. I am disappointed that two more seats went to Democrats.

That's easy to say after the election, but the Obama White House invested quite a bit of political capital in these races, particularly the New Jersey governor's race. What a joke this administration has become when they engage in this sort of spin!

GOP - don't let YOUR guard down just yet - and sit there twiddling your thumb's and wait till 2010 to lose again - give us some law's we can believe in today.

As for you liberal's - Getting out and working with groups may seem especially appealing today, especially those involving athletics or other physical activities. This is an excellent day, therefore, to go out for team sports or to attend a class in yoga, aerobics, or tai chi. You could also want to make a short trip out of town in the company of some friends. A bit of adventure is definitely in the air for you, dear Capricorn. Enjoy it!. Good by in 2010 and 2012.

"Very local issues that didn't involve the President"

Is that a fact?

Well, I guess the great confusion in all our minds now is exactly why then did the President spend about $500,000 dollars in Tax Payor money to go campaign for the two loser Governors?

What a travesty that is.

Will the US citizens get repaid by the Virginia voters for Obama's trip? Since, according to the white house, the trip had nothing to do with Obama.

"GOP wins not about Obama"? Well, the White House certainly would have incentive to say that, wouldn't they? Why don't we listen to other pundits around the country - who, consistent with common sense, disagree? In any and every other election where a reversal happens in what party beats the other out, it has ALWAYS been the incumbant party's fault, according to anyone who cared.

We're sick of being taxed to death and having jokes like the public option, ENDA, and same-sex marriage practically rammed down our throats!

Losses don't matter...no...not at all but the victories in the congressional seat in LIBERAL LAND california and New York ARE important to note.

All this means is that a majority of the people in New York and California in those two districts are too stupid to see the harm the president and his corrupt democratic cronies have done to our country in such a short period of time.

Even the corrupt people of New Jersey finally saw through it and voted a better option into office.

At least the Republican will do LESS damage...probably won't do much good but at least less damage.

Politics in this country is sooooooo corrupt people really ought to realize that we would be better off if literally every single incumbent was booted from office and we started over.

They voted on local issues or something like that, right Gibbs? Then why did Obama go to NJ 4 or 5 times to campaign for Corzine?

Here the spin PMSNBC put on it last night? Corzine is tied to Goldman Sachs, that's why he was defeated. PMSNBC is truly the mouthpiece for Obama.

Why does the WH need Gibbs when they have KO, "Tingle", Madcow, etc as permanent "unpaid" spokespeople for the hogwash coming out of the WH?

Seems to me that we little citizens could be saving some money on unneeded employees there...just a thought

I'm amazed at how many people get all uptight when politicians engage in.....drum roll....politics. Or, if they're not uptight about it, they deny it totally.

Obama bashers and Bush bashers must realize these two politicians have made use of the same playbook, just for different goals. You can't reasonably criticize the maneuverings of one and extol the other; you can only comment on the goals.

Simply, further evidence of how the Obama Administration in spite of the 2000 pound gorilla in the room, continues down a road of illusion and dreams.

I for one, have not bought into their unreasonable concepts of hope and change.

Conservative won. Not blue-dog republicans and certainly not democats.

This election was just a hint of what matters.
We want and expect and need lower taxes, less government, and more freedom. Leave the socialist propaganda and failures in France.

Of course these GOP wins were not about Obama!

But if the GOP candidates had lost... You can bet it would have been about Obama's awesomeness.

The media is in the can for Obama.

I agree these elections were not about Obama, but you can bet the media would have found a way to spin it into being something about Obama or something he needs to get done if they had turned out differently.

They're already saying the DNC win in NY was all about people wanting to send one more vote to DC to help Obama achieve his agenda.
