D-Will is an All Star | 5:31 a.m. Nov. 4, 2009
We might as well enjoy watching D Will work towards being an All Star because we aren't going to enjoy any playoff run. Boozer is so horrible at playing defense that we will not be going very far in the playoffs. D Will is the one bright spot this year along with Wesley as rookie of the year (on any other team because Sloan won't play him enough to be ROY on this team)

D-Will - firs you will have to lead jazz through the storm, things aren`t going youre way, awery game players from other teams are making records (personal, team....), so you will have to start making some noise in the locker room, or you`ll be watching the game in Dallas...

Wish you well...

There is no way the coaches will make him an All Star with this team playing so poorly. How many guard spots are there? If the Jazz are so far out of the playoff picture by continuing this terrible play, the chances of Williams getting one of those few guard spots are slim. Chris Paul will be there because the so-called best PG in the game has to be, Nash will be there with his run and gun team doing well, then who else? Will any coach justify putting the PG of the 10th ranked team in when he could choose Chauncey Billups, Jason Kidd, Tony Parker or Aaron Brooks (who has comparable numbers to DWill with a "less talented" team)? Talking about the All Star game with what is going on is so very stupid. Shame on you DWill for even addressing that question.

Good luck on being an All Star. I can tell thats what you want the most. More than winning. If you want personal accolades make your team win instead of being a chucker. Improve your defense. Your front court are not shot blockers, You put them in a bad possesion when you let your man blow past you. If you will your team to victory and play defense you will become an Allstar and maybe people will say your better than CP3.

If you keep losing, chucking and not play any defense you will not be consider an Allstar nor better than CP3.

'D Will is the one bright spot this year along with Wesley as rookie of the year (on any other team because Sloan won't play him enough to be ROY on this team)'

So on any other team Wesley Mathews, an un drafted rookie, would get rookie of the year and more playing time. Are you serious? He was lucky to make our roster and w/o injuries probably wouldn't have. There is a reason he went undrafted and came to the Jazz for a shot at making team. Now i'm not knocking him because I do think he might be a hidden gem, but lets be realistic.

His comments pretty well sum up his attitude toward the team this year. It's all about Dwill. The less defense he plays, the more energy for offense and stats. And you wonder why this team is 1 - 3! Dwill's only concern is to be an allstar.

He ought to play some defense....if he wants our team to actually win....then again most of the "allstars" just put up offensive stats to make the team anyhow.

At 1-3....ya lets talk about making the allstar team.

Brilliant.

the Jazz are 1-3. why would you even write a story about a Jazz player being an All-Star? All the top NBA teams became better during the off-season. Except the Jazz, who stayed exactly the same, which is translating into playing worse. These guys can't finish a game.

That's who he is. At most poor man Averson.

D-Will could have the perfect season. Leading in every major statistical category a point gaurd should and still not make the All-Star team. Why? Because its a popularity contest in which fans have to much say in the outcome. All-Star voting should be weighted so those closest to the game, coaches and players votes count more than the fans. D-Will could be the league MVP and because the Jazz play in such a small market with limited fans outside of Utah would still not make the All-Star team.

@me myself and I: How did Stockton and Malone make it all those years? Great analogy. Maybe Dwill doesn't make it because the other point guards are better than him at the position?
Sorry | 6:36 p.m. Nov. 4, 2009
Sorry little Willie .... Not this year

Actually DWill is statistic wise playing better than last year. The Problem with the Jazz is that all the others have not come to play. Boozers percentages are down, Milsap is down, Okur is down, Korver is gone and Brewer up.

What do you expect? The Jazz did not improve player wise by trading or drafting. They stayed the same. What does the same mean, other teams got better, for the Jazz instead of a record of 50 + wins this year they will probably loose ground.

How to overcome this problem, get better. The Jazz are averaging 99 points per game and allowing 100 + points per game. Of the next 13 games they play only two teams that they should beat.

So by December 1, 2009 they will probably be no better than 3 wins and 15 losses. That means if they keep going at this pace they will be 16 wins and 66 losses.
