Cool how many People In the MWC play Pro footbal. I personally like Austin Collie and The Indiapolis colts.

This picture is kinda of subject though---------------->

It's fun to see so many Cougars and Yewts getting playing time in the NFL. This list has got to be great for recruiting for BYU and Utah. Collie has been tearing it up this year. I didn't realize Ratliff landed an NFL roster spot as a QB. That's really surprising to me, but congrats none the less. Props to Alex Smith for a very decent outing against a tough Colts team. Even though I get a lot of mileage out of bashing Ute fans for him being a draft bust, I'd really like to see him succeed.

BYU fan overall, but I'd say | 4:36 p.m. Nov. 4, 2009
Eric Weddle is the best contributing player from the conference right now, and if he keeps it up Austin Collie is right there with him.... it's nice to see the rundown on all these guys after college...

Y Fan -- not a good post on the Miami pic. Like you've never seen Cougars (or any other athletes) do that on the field?

I also hope Alex Smith is able to perform well now that he's been given a second chance to start. It's never been fair to call the guy a draft bust when he didn't exactly have a stellar surrounding cast in SF. Same thing happened to John Beck in Miami, you just don't know what he could have done behind a better O-line, etc.
Austin Collie on the other hand... If he were taking passes from some guy on the side of QB awesomeness opposite Payton Manning, we might not be hearing a thing about him, for years. So much of these sports achievements are about having talent and being put in the right situation where that talent can shine.
Good luck to our state athletes--it's great to see them competing at the next level.
