Coach Mac hit it right on the head. I think that a strenght of schedule should play into the playoffs. Most of the no loss teams and single loss teams, like Montana play scrub NAIA or DII teams. Weber State loses by a combined 8 points to FBS teams on the road. For the entire season WSU has been in the FCS top 25. I guess for the up coming years WSU has to schedule Dixie State and maybe get permission from the NCAA to play Snow College. I guess that's what it comes down to, or maybe get lucky for USU to stop being scared and play us. The fact it, WSU might have 4 losses, but they still are better than most 7-1 teams right now! Go Wildcats!!

I agree, we play the DIA schools, do well, play tough, and will be penalized for it. We should be 7-2, i give Wyoming and Montana the props, they beat us, but those are the only 2 games we got beat. We could be like Montana and play Central Washington and 'puff up' our W-L record.
Go Wildcats, hope we make it somewhere, but Coach Mac has got to clean house and get rid of the OL coach. He is a cancer to the team, and will pull the entire program down.....in one season!

Except that Weber knew going into the season that strength of schedule does not matter in playoff selection. Stop your whining. Next time, just don't choke when you get a chance. You've choked three times this year and twice at the end of last year; this gives you room to continue to talk smack where?

Montana's ooc included: Northwestern State (embarassingly bad), UCDavis and Cal Poly. Only 1 cupcake there. Weber lost ... get over it

Why won't Montana play a Div 1 team? Scared!!! Too much of a risk. Only reason Weber is in the spot they're in stated in comment by Wildcat 100 -cancer.

Why won't Montana play a FBS team? Because it doesn't need the money. UM only plays guarantee games at places that will pay more than a Washington-Grizzly Stadium home game will bring in. That's why the Griz play teams like Iowa ('06) and Oregon ('05). Weber isn't playing Colorado State and Wyoming to boost the strength of schedule, it's for the guarantee money. This season, the Wildcats traded two losses for a few hundred-thousand dollars. I guess last year's Big Sky champions rings were more expensive than they thought they'd be.
