i guess i don't know math very well. but if you add up the numbers, there is 191 yards different between the two running backs for BR. so how does the one with the lesser yards be the leading rusher?
Re: fan | 7:57 a.m. Nov. 4, 2009
I don't really know, but maybe they are all-purpose yards and the leading rusher doesn't have any pass catches. I do agree they should clarify a little better in the article.

I predict BR to win 41-33; no OT. It should be a great game.

Bear River doesn't stand a chance against Wasatch it will be 42 14 final score. BR is definetly the underdog this game and if Wasatch has some turnovers it could be a different outcome, Wasatch has too many big strong kids this year, as you know JD and PC are a head above everyone and Hurricane and Wasatch are just below them, the rest of 3A might as well prepare for next year because they will not win this week and thats a GUARANTEE!

You may want to rethink your pick for this game. Just a thought to get your pick percent up for the year, you will be way off on this game.
Wasps | 6:02 p.m. Nov. 4, 2009
The article is right in saying its up to Wasatch's "D" to win the game. I will also add the special teams cant give up any big plays either like they have earlier in the season.

Bear River is in a lot better region than Wasatch. That will help the Bears. Region X is really soft this year with the exception of PC and Wasatch. Bear River looks to be good. They is used to playing better teams. Our region play, for the most part doesnt prepare us to enter the playoffs, not trying to be critical of Carbon, ALA or Union.

Im excited for a good game.

you put hurricane in the same catigory as wasatch i would say hurricane is quite a bit stronger and better than them they played a much harder schedule.just my opinion though
re: fan to get real | 7:00 p.m. Nov. 4, 2009
What are you talking about I am pretty sure Hurricane got creamed by Desert Hills and Wasatch creamed Desert Hills. Just the facts, step it up and win the easy games, I am betting you lose to Morgan this week!

they lost by seven points that getting creamed ha ha ha okay what ever you say and they will beat morgan
re: get real  | 11:21 a.m. Nov. 6, 2009
Hurricane will not lose to Morgan. The Desert Hills game meant nothing. Everyone has an off day. Did you see what they did to Dixie who is in the 4A quarters? Obviously not. They will follow this week up with a win over Park City who creamed Wasatch.

Fresh off an impressive performance in the opening round of the 3A state tournament, Wasatch quarterback Payton Davis will look to continue that trend against Bear River in the quarterfinals this Friday.
