in my apple pie, thank you. I think the Dutch would be APPALLED. Not "appled."
This is better than most recipes I've read here. I don't exactly know what is meant by "prepared" dough though. I sincerely hope the author doesn't expect me to use the nasty partially-hydrogenated high-fructose processed junk that comes in a cardboard container. Pie crust is easy to make from scratch using natural wholesome ingredients. It tastes better too! I'll "prepare" my own dough.
I'll try this recipe next weekend minus the raisins as the previous poster suggested.
How about cranberries instead of raisins? It looks yummy, but needs cranberries.
It looks like they used a spring form pan, Is that what you would use?
Woops! I answered my own question. Spring form pan it is.
I don't care for raisings, cranberries are ecellent in apple pie.
