Congrats anyway to Donovan. He's a great player. Well deserved.
I think it should be absolutely be Shalrie Joseph over Landon Donovan. The stats are sligthly better for Landon but not if you take everything into consideration. Joseph 9 goals 7 assists on only 14 shots with 5 on goal, Donocan 13 goals 6 assists on 40 shots with 19 on goal! Even on the stats Joseph is doing more with less. The next best player on the Revolution is Kheli Dube, the next best player on the Gals is David Beckham. If you switched the players wouldn't you think the Gals would have tied less and won more and the Revs would be out of the playoffs? I think so. MVP Joseph, Landon is the best player in MLS but Joseph is bar far the most valuable.
