Fesenko Jerseys are really selling big right now seems every one appreciates his defense in the paint.

I would like to comment on Greg Miller's statement in the paper quote[I'm just greteful for the sacrifice so many people have made to be here, it would be so easy for them to keep their money and at home and watch the games on TV.] Sure I stayed home with what little money I have but I sure didn't watch a JAZZ game because of a little problem called unemployment I can't afford cable or tickets so so it really wasn't easy it was just an unhappy evening like the next 80 game nights will be.

how can a station called K JAZZ not have Jazz Basketball like 25road games?

It is simply uncivilized..

KJZZ will fill the time with roasts of Frank Layden and WNBA games from the past of Margo Dayek and the Utah Starz. Danny White will have his thoughts on growing Arena Football in Utah

Fez is starting  | 7:19 a.m. Nov. 2, 2009
to play up to his potential. He is learning to make the right moves at the right time and also cut his fouls. However, his rebounding is down with the fouls. I suspect he will just get better the rest of this year. The Jazz need to work out an extension based on his improved play. The Jazz only have him for this year.

When Boozer goes, Okur could move to PF if needed. Millsap could play 3 about 1/3 of the time. There are some nights that a big line up is needed.

Koufos is rebounding like Dennis Rodman. It is only a matter of time before he gets his shot working better. Boozer has also been getting blocked a lot. I expect that to fix before long.

Right now the Jazz have depth at big. They have some options. Small ball is a little limited but that will solve in a month.

If the Jazz can rebound better than last year and not tank when Okur is out for games, their record should be better. However, they still might not do well against elite teams.

The Jazz need oOutside shooting to open the inside.
Getting blocked | 7:29 a.m. Nov. 2, 2009
One reason Boozer is getting blocked so much is because the Jazz outside shooting is weak and has not opened up the inside enough. That forces the smallish Boozer to shoot jump shots. Koufos had the same problem inside. Fez mostly dunks at point blank range so it does not effect him much. He has already moved everybody out of the road.

The loss of CJ and Korver are a problem. The Jazz will have to modify their offensive approach to some extent when Okur is out. Brewer needs to shoot jump shots and hit them to pull his man out. DWill seems to be working pretty well as a 2 guard.

I am not a Sloan fan but he seems to be adapting and adjusting. I hope the press and fans keep up the pressure on the Jazz playing defense. Sloan can't do it alone. He also has to short of a bench to sit key players who do not defend. He should play Fez and Koufos more to rest starters for back to backs.

The back up PG position seems to be the biggest problem. DWill is not as quick with a lot of minutes.
Boozer will find his  | 9:03 a.m. Nov. 2, 2009
game, maybe tonight against a smaller line up? However, HOU plays defense. They also run and gun well. The Utah guards are going to have to defend well or the bigs inside are going to have a lot of fouls.

This is the same team that almost beat LA last year. Aaron Brooks is a lot more experienced than Ty Lawson.

Boozer and Millsap should have big nights. The rebounding is crucial against Houston. They are going to attack inside and they are going to bomb outside. The guard and SF defense are key to stopping them.

@Sad Jazz Fan: Maybe you should cancel your internet too!!

With two regular players out of the lineup, it will be a long week on the road. The game will be a blowout in Dallas. That is, Dallas blowing us out.

@macnamara: Boozer has been horrible. Jody is right on. Don't forget, he opted in. No one asked him to stay. He choose to stay.
Thoughts on Koufos | 9:12 a.m. Nov. 2, 2009
Fez has taken the for front for the moment. That is great because he is needed in the middle and is stepping up at the right time.

Koufos is kind of forgotten. However, I am seeing the following.

1. Koufos is leading the team in offensive rebounds with very limited minutes. Koufos is leading the team in rebounds per minute.

2. Sloan sees something in Koufos. He is trying to turn him into a PF. Koufos played C most of his limited career. I think Koufos could become the next Gasol. He is tall enough. If he can develop enough fast twitch muscle he will be quick enough.

If he studies Gasol and Boozer's moves it will serve him well. Boozer's first step and left hand make him great in spite of his height.

3. Koufos plays pretty good defense. That will improve with time and as he gets more game experience.

4. Koufos can shoot but he needs a lot of work in that area as his shot is flat and he needs to be quicker with more vert. He is getting blocked. Watching film will probably fix that. His moves are limited and therefor predictable.

I like the comment on same stds.

Boozer gives us an all star and we are short of those. D Will is legitimate but our offense needs to figure a way to get the ball to Okur to shoot as his percentage is as big as they get in the NBA.

We have CJ and Korver returning but they should be packaged together and traded. Together they are at best, streak shooters.

Fes has been entertaining but most NBA players understand he is still rookie status and is about as hard to guard as a package of cookies, thus he is effective for short bursts. Time and lots of experience will cure what ails him.

Yes, Boozer was terrible, 3 assists short of a triple double, that's pretty bad.

Like I said all last season Fez just needs a chance to play.
Voice of reason | 4:19 p.m. Nov. 2, 2009
Missing 24 of 36 shots = Not Hot. End of story. Booz rebounded and had some assists, but that doesn't take away the fact he is not shooting the ball well right now.
Re; Voice of reason | 5:50 p.m. Nov. 2, 2009
Boozer had a sub par shooting performance in game one for sure. "End of story", I don't think so.

If you want to crack on Booze for his shooting in the Clips game, you better bagg on Williams as well....They both shot for virtually the same FG% on the night.

You dudes don't really care about the Jazz at all. And you've been pounding on Boozer for so long, it's become the "IN" thing to do. Get a new story line. Your comments are worn out!!
