Definition of "Corridor" | 2:08 p.m. Nov. 2, 2009
A street with red lights every have mile is not a "Corridor". I-215 is a corridor. Enjoy the traffic for the next 50 years.

South Jordan is "clean". As in "pasture" clean? "Clean" before the noon wind storm or after?

South Jordan does have the lowest crime rate per capita in the Salt Lake Valley, despite its recent population growth. It's town plaza has won a major design award. The Mayor got the land donated from major players (KLC, LDS Church, Developers) so South Jordan is the only city ready for Mountain View corridor (and Mayor Money and the City council fought to keep it toll free)South Jordan is getting two TRAX stations, a FrontRunner station, and got the state to build 10600 South and 11400 South at NO cost to residents. Great shopping. Lower property taxes than surrounding cities? Count me in! I love South Jordan.

I just can't believe the things people are saying about South Jordan! It is a beautiful, clean city with a lot of class. I work in South Jordan and the businesses and people here are very friendly and treat you with respect! From the tiny little Maverick Store to the JCPenney at the District. I live in West Jordan as west as it gets, just north of Daybreak and I never hear or see airplanes. I have been to the east side and I am not impressed. If you haven't been to South Jordan, then maybe you should come and check it out. The Daybreak Community is just gorgeous.

In keeping with a longstanding Deseret News policy of not publishing stories the day before or the day of the election, no comments will be posted on election stories Monday or Tuesday. The rationale for this policy being applied to comments is to prevent the last-minute dissemination of untrue allegations against a candidate that could influence voters.

Daybreak is in a bubble.

The number of new housing units in South Jordan last year was eight times that of its neighbors. Plus it's the only south valley city to see an increase in sales-tax revenue.
