What do you expect... when you teach the kids that "Man is bad", "Your parents are bad (If they voted for Bush)", "YOU will grow up to be bad", and "Humans (like YOU) cannot exist on the planet without destroying it".... etc.
The messages of the Extreme-Left almost BEGS impressionable and sensitive kids to just want to end their existence before THEY become the problem.
The causes and motivations for suicide are far more complex than ideology. People dealing with depression, bi-polar disorder and other mental disfunction often feel they have no where to turn in dealing with their problems. Too many I times I was told to "just grow up", or "get over it". Gimicky slogans about "looking at the bright side", or other philosophical gems do not alter the chemical imbalance that is occurring inside the brain. It took professional counseling and the proper prescriptions and use of medication to restore balance in my life. Without proper help, young people can especially fall into despair. When the pain becomes intense enough, all you want is a way out, a way to stop it. The pain is real, believe me.
