Pierce has missed the most crucial aspect of this so-called television program. The problem with the modern version of is that it represents everything that is wrong with the modern entertainment industry: gratuitous nudity, indiscriminate sex, and violence committed simply for the sake of violence. Indeed, the modern version's promotion of dishonesty, greed, and every type of immorality is highly distressing. With modern Hollywood's relentless promotion of these evils, it is no wonder that modern society is such a mess.

I'm so glad someone turned this into a sanctimonious moral issue. It's high time we stopped ignoring that and started beating everyone over the heads with a big windy bore of a rant on every article about a movie or TV show. Oh, that's right. ALL OF YOU ALREADY DO.

Oh, and I know you haven't seen this one that you critiquing, but did you see the original "V"? Because it wasn't exactly "Little House on the Prairie", chuckles.

I will watch it and if I am offended morally then I will not. To use a religious affectation: Babylon will always be Babylon, it is up to us as individuals to decide our level of involvement in it.

Personally, I am excited to watch it. :)

I loved it. I don't know where the first poster gets his info, but none of what he mentioned showed up in this episode. Maybe he's somehow seen the whole series before the rest of us saw the pilot. Maybe he's actually an alien lizard disguised as a human and is planning on harvesting us for food. Or maybe he's just sanctimonious for the sake of being sanctimonious. I suppose only he knows which one it is.
