Thanks to the Wildcats for coming up and playing a straight up game in GrizNation. The players played with heart and courage even though the day belonged to Montana. Weber State has no reason to hang its head.

I guess that Weber State has finally come back to earth. After a fluke win a year ago in the mud over the Griz, and they put themselves at the elite of the Big Sky Conference. You lose all of your "elite" players after this year,and next year you will be snuggling with Idaho State!! And the Griz will again be at the top of the conference.

I really thought Weber would give them a good game. Hats off to Montana they took it to them. Hopefully the 'Cats can rally and finish in sole position of 2nd. Generally 2 Big Sky teams get invited to the playoffs.

And lets face it Weber's only losses have been 2 close losses to FBS teams and a loss the the 2nd ranked FCS team. That close loss to MSU haunts them. But still I think the Big Sky is one of the top conferences in FCS and should get two teams.

I never thought I'd say this but go Grizz give the Bobcats a whoopin when you play them.

Very disappointed in Cameron Higgins and the WSU offense. Cam looked scared to death the whole game. Very tentative. WSU really misses Don Eck and Kevin McGiven. WSU is playing with NO swagger. Where did it go? Strange not to see very many comments. Does anyone else care?

cameron higgins and the offensive line played a very disapointing game. the line on both sides of the ball for WSU got dominated by the grizz. hopefully the cats can pull it together and maybe snake a playoff spot.

As a former Wildcat, I have to say that with all the talent out there for Weber-they played a gutless game this past Sat. Ive seen & been a part of teams with much less talent who played much better football. It was the first time in a VERY long time that I have been so disapointed in, and embarrassed for a team. I hope they regroup & play the next few with some stones--In the meantime, they should each individually be absolutely ashamed of their performance against the Griz. For those current players that read this; you know EXACTLY what I'm referring to...

With the most prolific offense in Weber history returning almost everyone.
With virtually all Weber offense record holders still on the team.
What is the difference?
Break it down, is it one player, two players or the whole unit? Not likely!!!
Comes down to one entity.
Who brought this negative, look over your shoulder, blame someone else attitude to this team?
When a young man (men) is (are) hated by the coach, performance is not the same.
Coach Mac - we love you, do not let one cancer ruin magic! Cut the cancer out, hatred like this has no business on your staff.
WSU really misses Don Eck and Kevin McGiven. They are gone but more are waiting in the shadows. With Mac's recruiting ability and a great staff WSU will have continued success.
Heal up, study film, there is enough talent on this team to do it all. We have had some bumps this year but we remain in a good position. We have seen it all . . . learn and grow forward.
This is a special bunch - we love them all ! ! !

Some great comments above. We do have a lot of talent. I agree WSU really misses Coach Eck and McGiven. I agree that things still go on. MT. was a tough team and they played well.
Everyone is so quick to judge, blame etc. the players, the coaches etc.. Weber had an off day. How do you think the players and coaches feel?? We need to support our team no matter what!

As a Griz fan, I was somewhat surprised with Weber's performance.
Many of us had thought that Weber had a great shot at getting a win in Missoula.
The difference between the Griz and the rest of the Big Sky confernece is effort! Every play, every game.
No excuses!
Generally, the Griz don't have the most talented players but effort can make the difference.

I can understand how difficult it can be to play in Washington Grizzly Stadium. The noise level of the cheering fans rival much larger venues. ESPN commented one of the years they were there televising a playoff game that the Griz fans are as loud as some of the stadiums 3 or 4 times the size of Washington Grizzly. And the Griz seem to bring it year after year. Coach Hauck does something right. Weber State tried hard, they weren't laying down on the job- they just had a tough team to play. The Griz have dominated most of the teams this season and even on the games that were close they never stop until the end. Wildcats shouldn't feel too bad about the loss, they have good company. Just keep trying. Having once called Utah home, as long as your not playing the Griz, I'll wish you success.

Bench Higgins he has really been playing poorly and looked like he was shaking in his shoes. This was a team that was supposed to be better than last years team What happened?

How can their RB get 48 yards in the 1st half and 193
yards in the 2nd half? Easy, take out your stud #95 with a cheap
chop block, that made a difference. Also #93 got hurt also by some
great blocking. Beat me don't cheat me
