Utah Utes football: Team rides dominant defense to shut down Cowboys

And once again, their fans take the wrong message from it. It would also appear the players and media did too.
Look, struggling to come from behind and beat teams like Colorado State and Wyoming (both of which have had trouble holding leads this season) is not a sign of strength it's a sign the Utes have serious weaknesses, weaknesses that will get badly exposed against tougher competition.
TCU isn't going to let your offense sleepwalk through the first 3 quarters and then turn it on in the fourth quarter, and their offense isn't going to implode in the second half, either.
This year's Utes kinda remind me of last year's Cougars. After BYU pitched back-to-back blowout shutouts against UCLA and Wyoming everyone assumed the Cougars were unbeatable; close wins over Washington and Colorado State and UNLV were signs of strength, not weakness.
It wasn't until they got blasted by TCU that the weaknesses became obvious. The Utes will find that out in two weeks.
Last year the U offense slept waked through 3 quarters against TCU and still won. The U can do that, because they play defense. But as a byu fan, you just wont understand
Whether it be Cain or Wynn, one thing is for sure- UTAH will not loose by 31 points to TCU. Thats just not UTAH football
Funny. That's exactly what happened last time we played them.
Let me tell you why the Utes have a shot against TCU and why the will ALWAYS have a shot in EVERY game they play.
BECAUSE OUR DEFENSE IS SCARY GOOD.
