Congrats Cassidy on being on that list of talented volleyball players. Maybe the
most talented 1A teams that have ever been. I know you would have much rather
won state. Panguitch and Piute were very good and it just did not work out. Way
to work hard to all the girls and work thru your trials from the day before. We
will miss seeing you with Cassie, Ashley, Maude,Shantae...but we still have
basketball season!

I don't know about most talented 1A teams ever been but definitely the best
competition. But I wouldn't go out on a limb to say the most talented
because we all know that there have been amazing teams go through Rich that I
don't think will be topped. But, the competition is better than ever

EXCUSE ME. Was not going after your daughter being not as good as this years
Rich team. I was just saying that never has there been three 1A teams show up in
the top 20 in the state in one year and 3 more with potential of beating any of
those three teams on any given day if they did not play their game. I was giving
Kudos to Panguitch, Piute, Altamont, Monticello, and Duchesne for making the 1A
tournament compeititive where there has been many years that 1A title could have
been won by Coach Stuart's JV she had sitting on the bench. Good job Rich
girls. You worked hard and represented the school well. Thanks and good job all
of you! And as far as the comments that there has been Rich teams that will not
be topped,wow, I hope the younger girls in all of volleyball do not fold up shop
and go home because they can never live up to the past. I know some girls that
plan for maybe something different than that. Go Rebels!

Based on how they compare to the best teams around the state regardless of
class, Panguitch is the best team in 1A that I have ever seen. There has never
been a 1A team this close to the best 5A schools.
Amazing what happens when you work during the "offseason", Panguitch and Piute have figured it out and 1A volleyball will never be the same. Welcome to an age of relative parity.

Panguitch was definitely very good this year but the best team in 1A to EVER
come this close to the best 5A schools? I don't know if that is a shot at
5A not having good teams this year or just ignoring the fact that Rich High has
come up with teams in the past that would have taken state in any division.
Anyone who's watched Utah high school volleyball for the past 15 years
can't argue with that. Again, Panguitch was really good this year but not
the BEST I've ever seen in 1A. They definitely deserved the championship
this year.

I think we insult our current coach and players and show a disgraceful lack of
sportsmanship by focusing only on previous years' accomplishments, and
discounting those who have played this year (whether they play for our team or
not). Rich, You're living in the past. Congratulations Panguitch on a
great season.

Congrats to all the girls and their accomplishments!! I agree that 1A volleyball
is progressing and it is great to see. Also kudos to the Rich fan that can see
that Rich needs to quit reliving the past and focus on the future. It is a slap
in the face the present and future players. All players keep up the good work
and commitment.

Its about time someone told that to rich! Exactle what your fan said let go of
the past start living in the present panguitch beat you and your mad but o well
they were better proven fact get over it work hard and come back next year and
try for it again! Nice job panguitch you guys had a great season and a wonderful
team...your girls are so sweet, everyone is just jealous of your hard work and
dedication!

Rich's victories haven gotten to be ridiculous because..... they always win
and dominate?.... or what? Don't hate them because they are good. They may
of had a down year this year but come on dont tear them down. And they have lost
before don't worry, no one knows how to lose better than Rich they have had
bad seasons. Panguitch needs to learn how to be humble, look at all the comments
Rich is given you as well... for real you were prob ticked that no one on here
is sayin Panguitch is overrated from Rich and that its stupid Rich didn't
win you were prob hopin for negative c. Rich has had nothing to say but positive
things from these comments. Show some class now. And ya Rich needs to stop
living in the past and focus on the present and future,, but the better you know
about the past the more prepared you are for the future. that's all
Panguitch can do is focus on this and they should because they haven't
really had a past worth mentioning in volleyball they wreaked. Rich does.

UHSAA classifies schools based on grades 10-12. If you go by the numbers they have published this year, the top 10 1A schools would be:
1. Wasatch Academy (197)
2. Duchesne (157)
2. Whitehorse (157)
4. Monticello (153)
5. St. Joseph (138)
6. Monument Valley (115)
7. Altamont (112)
8. Wayne (109)
9. Oakely (100)
10. Rich (94)
Panguitch would be 11th on this list with 91
