do we get an update on if they broke the record? Or do we tune in next week?
The big 10 inch did break the world record but I don't know how far it went.
if you would read the article is says "A few minutes later, the official surveyor showed the spotters a GPS count of 4,623 feet, beating the former record by 132 feet."
My question is: how can a gps be an accurate enough tool to measure the distance? I thought the best gps could get within 3 meters of actual point.
"Eschborn proudly said proudly..." Why edit?
A top quality GPS can measure to less than an inch. Haven't you see surveyers using them?
