Richard Evans seems to have a great life and is doing great things with his life...

I enjoyed this article and want to now get this book (The Cristmas List). I am glad that he is going to do a series of books as I like to read books in a series.

Love your books Bro Evans, PLEASE keep them coming - but do not hurt your health in the process...

Evans' novels are not my cup of tea, but they have moved millions. Who am I to deny their experience? I am moved by movies, songs and literature that I know are not the most rigorous, that some would call trite and that would make some gag. But there is more to art than technical skill. Evans connects with his audience, which does not include me or Ack.

Dear Ack: Some people don't know how to do anything but denigrate others. I guess you can do that because you've had a lot of New York Times best sellers....right?

I haven't read this new book, but if it is as good as all the others, it will be a smash hit. I loved all your books and look forward to reading this one.

IF you like this this kind of work; read it. If you don't; then either make an informed comment, or move on to the next article. I find RPE's books a light read and welcome respite from the heavier issues of my life. My children read them, too, and I find the uplifting message refreshing and beneficial for them, as well.

Love Evans' books and his understanding of what's important in life. We certainly all need redemption and to forgive and be forgiven. I look forward to reading his newest book and the series that's in the works.

People are entitled to expressing their opinion. Thats what a comment board is for.

I recognize the fact that people are free to express their opinions, and I'm glad they do. However, for those who express negative comments, I have to wonder if they are past feeling. I just find it so sad that there are people who can't say a nice thing about anything nice. It doesn't matter that it's not your type of read, but to say anything negative is a little demeaning to the author.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Evans at his book signing in Fort Worth this past week. He is genuinely a kind and gracious person. I have read all but one of his books and find them very enjoyable and uplifting. He is also a great humanitarian who has done much for the more vulnerable elements of our society. For those who admonish him to "get a life", it appears he has a pretty good one.

I love RPE's books. If you don't like them, don't read them, but don't attack the author.

I would contend that RPE has a life, and a pretty good one at that.

His book The Christmas Box was nothing short of a priceless gift to me at a personal level.

Mr. Evans is over used in this community. He's not so good of an author in comparison with other authors. Everyone thinks that just because he's a mormon made big that he's special. I think he is a phoney, but it makes my wife happy to wait in line every year with a hundred other middle-aged women who thinks he's a rock star.

People! As a teacher I beg of you to tell this nice man the truth. The personal attacks are uncalled for, but this book is filled with gaping holes and faulty logic. Did you miss a few edits? Run out of time? The storyline was lovely and moving, but you didn't fulfill its promise. I'm sure your next book will meet the standards of your previous ones.

Charity smarity. Richard's life is construction for public consumption. Get over your mormon boy worship.

Richard Paul Evans is a gift to the world. He has changed thousands of lives for the better because he dared to write books that are full of meaning and kindness and grace. His books will stand through time and continue to inspire people long after he is gone. Long after you who criticize him behind a computer screen are gone. So I ask... What have YOU done with your life to attack this man? The Christmas List is BEAUTIFUL story that has made me rethink my life and become a better, kinder person. I thank God that I read it and that this man was born. If his life is construct then I'd only wish to construct something half as meaningful with mine.

A personal friend of Richard's gave me the Christmas Box when he first published it and I've been a huge fan ever since. While reading his books, I become a part of the character's lives if only for the duration of my reading but the feelings and thoughts that are provoked stay with me. Keep up the good work Richard! Can't wait to read this new book.TS
