Obama lifts ban on US entry for those with HIV

This was a politically correct decision and NOT a decision that was made with the health of U.S. Citizens in mind.

Has the HIV virus become non-communicable? If not, why then are those that can infect the rest of us not inhibited from communicating that disease?

Have exhaustive studies shown that casual contact cannot communicate the disease? When we are told to cough into our elbows to keep from getting the flu, are we certain that the HIV virus cannot be passed by casual contact? If someone who has the virus brushes his nose or his eyes or his mouth and then shakes my hand and I brush my hand against my nose or my eyes or my mouth, can Mr. Obama GUARANTEE that I will not contract the HIV virus?

How many on his staff or in his circle of close friends have that virus? How often does he expose himself to the possibility of getting that virus? Does he know that there is NO CURE?

Yes, innocent people have contracted HIV, but his actions will lead to many more contracting HIV, unknowingly and unwillingly.

ODD--Universal health care and now a law to allow Thousands with HIV / AIDS to live here...
That will cripple the system even faster then thought. Not a good idea.

Stop being such a hate monger.... if you are a doctor, you should know that just because someone is HIV positive, does not mean they are going to give it to another person, unless you are doing drugs, having unprotected sex, or other at risk things with them.

You have to remember some people that have HIV are just as much victims to this illness. Many people get it from Rape or accidents.

Get your head of the the 1980's and read up on the low risk factor associated with transmission!

I love the fact that Obama is finishing up something started by Bush. It shows continuity and that there are some things Republicans and Democrats have in common.

Yes - exhaustive studies have shown you can't get it that way.

No wonder people say not to take you seriously. If you are really that uninformed about something as easy to research as HIV/AIDS, it is obvious you are either totally computer illiterate or completely lazy - or such a hater you are willing to look stupid in order to be able to hate. (If it is the last one, a word of advice: it discredits you, not Obama.)

Obama just made our country a little bit less safe,

whether it is casually communicable or not, he inviting people in with a deadly disease.

Just for you ignorant Republicans, President George W Bush started the legislation for this and didn't have time to finish it. Obama is just finishing what he started. This is not a bi partisan issue! And it is surprising for me to see how many comments are so ignorant. I guess a lot of us Americans are really uneducated as the rest of the world thinks. Shame.
