This guy promoting this image of the cowboy is sadly out of touch with reality. What he thinks is the "cowboy code" is merely a Hollywood creation. He needs to study the West. The real Western cowboys weren't scum, but they certainly weren't straight-arrow heroes either. I'd give him more credibility if he knew what the heck he was talking about.
